I was a Two and a Half Men fan early on in the series existence. I watched the first season with Aston Kutcher playing Walden because there was so much controversy surrounding the show but really the show hasn't been very good since Charlie Sheen's firing in 2011. I watched the first season with Aston Kutcher playing Walden because there was so much controversy surrounding the show but really the show hasn't been very good since Charlie Sheen's firing in 2011. I decided that I wasted enough of my life watching Two and a Half Men when it was good that I might as well watch the final season and see how they close the book. In the 12th season Two and a Half Men returns to the format that made it popular but it's just not funny anymore. Jon Cryer's character Alan is just not funny anymore. It seems like we just know him too well now and we know what he is going to say before he says it. Aston Kutcher could have some funny episodes but for the most part he's supposed to be the serious one and isn't always relied on to be funny. Several new actors were brought in for the 12th season two of the most notable being Edan Alexander and Maggie Lawson. This season may even be overrated by me but I think I rated it a little high because its a show I've been familiar with for so long and it kind of hurt to be showing so much hate for it, but too be honest the show has just become a parody of its former self. The series also has the worst finale I've ever watched that is sure to piss off long time fans even if they enjoy the Kutcher era. There is no proper closure to the characters and all the character that they introduce at the start of the season wind up be insignificant in the end. If you are a fan on the series I suggest you skip this final season because it will only result in disappointment. Two and a Half Men just stuck around too long. Expand
