That isn't The Witcher, is a cheap knockoff branded as "The Witcher" to ride a success books and games titles. Shame

The show was very mediocre. The main disadvantages are poor directing, dialogues and staging. I was expecting a dark and violent backstory with Sapkowski's philosophy of what true evil is, but instead I got a typical American action movie with goofy jokes and sarcasm. It's just disrespectful to the original source.

Harmless fun that give the watcher a vague understanding of the Witcher lore.

Average. Not as bad as most people say. It's a decent background filler whilst you're doing something else.

The show’s derivativeness falls somewhere between depressing and embarrassing.

Creakily-assembled and fuelled largely by silliness, Blood Origin is for devoted Witcher watchers alone.

“Blood Origin’s” limited use of its strongest asset illustrates why the serviceable series never rises any higher — and sets a troubling precedent for what’s next.
