Serious problems with the last episode, but up until that point it's good. Changes from the books are hit and miss, but changes are needed and expected adapting a book series this size.

absolutely love this show, great characters, great worldbuilding; it's an epic fantasy show and different from every other show. despite some weaknesses a must watch in my opinion.

I found this series exciting and thoroughly enjoyable. I've been a fan of the books for 25 years and, although there are differences, it's an adaptation where big changes are necessary. Fan hat aside, the parts are extremely well-played andI found this series exciting and thoroughly enjoyable. At the end of season 1 the series had captivated me. I like it and for me it takes a solid third place after 1. Rings of Power and 2. House of Dragon. I‘m looking forward to season 2.

I overall enjoyed S1 even though it had some technical issues especially in the visuals and pacing. You can definitely see the impact of the COVID production shutdowns on the show at times. And while I was disappointed with the finale, II overall enjoyed S1 even though it had some technical issues especially in the visuals and pacing.
