Summary: Three months of intensive investigation is paying off for Eliot Ness and The Untouchables as they have "Smiley" Barris cornered in an upper floor of an Eastside tenement. Barris is apprehended but before he can talk, a sniper's bullet takes him out, leaving Ness with a busted investigation and back at square one.
