May 8, 2018I really don't get the negative reviews for this, I thought this was a very good show. People seem to complain about it having watched maybe 1 episode tops lmfao. I'm giving this 10 just out of spite because it does not deserve the meagre 4,5 it has right now. It's much better than these bitter Betty's below are making it seem.

Mar 30, 2020No words. Thanks for this serie. I loved all of the characters. Martin and Patrick forever ❤️

May 9, 2018Like most foreign Netflix shows, The Rain's English dub is horrible. But the show itself is excellent. A great Danish post apocalyptic show with strong dramatic relationships, interesting characters, and some decent twists to keep you interested. And it sets up well for a second season.

Jun 20, 2018Witty danish production with some substance of The walking dead and 28 days after, without the worn-out idea of the Z- people. Every one of eight chapters has the accurate dose of suspense and paranoia.

May 15, 2018*Sorry for my english, I speak french
Ok so the first episode, i tought the story was a little bit to much/fake. But after it, I fell in love with the serie. It's so stressful and well made! The character play well to. Good job Danish people. Can't wait for the second season :) -
Jun 27, 2018I just binge watched this show and am extremely impressed with the quality of production, acting, and the overall script. The only potential negative is the overdub of some character's voices from whatever their natural voice or language is.

May 14, 2018While there are some ridiculous and implausible things about the overall plotline, I found this to be a fun watch after it got started. I watched it in Danish with English subtitles, it greatly improved the experience (always does, dubbing sucks).

May 12, 2018this is okay on its own. It would be better if it had actually followed the book its based on (H20). This is a totally different story than the book.

Mar 5, 2022The season 1 is better than 2nd,but never Cross the storyline about the brother and after same ,same sameline boring
-
May 20, 2018I keep watching it, I don't know why, but I do. It's kind of like looking at an accident. It's hard not too. I just find it so hard to believe that in the world the way it is today, that any group of any kids, any age, from any country, could be as naive about human nature as this group is. It just seems out of any choice that presents itself, they choose the worst one.
-
May 5, 2018A very promising series, but in the end it does not come to anything, recommended to pass the time, but do not expect much, will leave you with pleasure to little.

May 5, 2018Poorly dubbed Danish teens behaving in the over reactionary way so beloved by their generation. Not for me.

Though Netflix’s latest binge-a-thon doesn’t always handle the logistics of that situation in a completely convincing way, its premise provides a sturdy backdrop for the suspenseful story of a girl striving to protect her younger brother at all costs.

Despite his best efforts, for a show where humanity is under attack, you ultimately need a reason to root for at least most of the humans. The Rain never gets to the point where you’re pulling for the water droplets, but this is one barren wasteland that makes it difficult to care about anything other than surviving it.

The Rain‘s greatest strength might be its clever hand with doling out information. If post-apocalyptic fiction has become too rote and familiar over the last decade, a good mystery yarn never loses its appeal, and The Rain spins mysteries well, dropping reveals and intriguing tidbits with impeccable timing. That quality makes The Rain a great binge show.
