May 31, 2018A ideia é legal. Mas as minúcias da história em sí é uma bosta. Sem paciência pra essa série

May 10, 2018One man claims to be able to save the world, unfortunately his kids are retarded and irritating. Show would have been better if they died in the beginning and we watch meerkats play in the rain the rest of the season.

May 7, 2018Characters whine way too much without advancing the story on top of it's dubbed so it just adds more to the negativity. After one episode I couldn't take it anymore.

May 6, 2018I love dystopian, worst-case scenario sci-fi movies just like the next guy, but this is another underwhelming serving by Netflix. Clichéd tropes are OK but the panicky teenager & moronic younger brother combo makes you want them to be killed off because they are just so freaking annoying! This is a poor man's poor man's Walking Dead

May 20, 2018Unreasonable decisions made by the ugly main characters, poor acting, lack of logical support. This show is a nightmare, dont waste your time.
-
May 10, 2018I couldnt even make it through the first episode, disobedient dumb children that ruin everything causing their mother to die, just terrible everything.
-
May 5, 2018Poorly dubbed Danish teens behaving in the over reactionary way so beloved by their generation. Not for me.
-
May 7, 2018C'mon netflix what is it that you lately make this terrible shows. Boring characters. Just whining all the time. Not using their brain even for one second. Everything in the show is predictable.
-
May 6, 2018The poor English dub is distracting. The protagonists are moron children that opened the front door to the baddies in the first episode. Let them die and give me a story where the characters are intelligent.
-
May 11, 2018The new dystopian thriller from denmark, featuring blatant stupidity, annoying characters, and literally watching plants grow. Couldn't make it to the end of this show. You can play a drinking game each time Rasmus is said in an episode. Netflix - try harder.

Aug 6, 2018This show's writing is so bad that it makes you hate the main characters right from the start. I don't blame the actors though, they just got a terrible director and a moron writing the script. It's easy to hate the actors given that their characters are so dumb, but I'm actually sorry for 'em.

May 12, 2018After the first 10 minutes, I knew this was another terranova wannabe... and just as bad. At the end of the episode I deleted the damn, horrid, thing. Let's call a spade a spade; this is shyte that chose to identify as a tv show.

Though Netflix’s latest binge-a-thon doesn’t always handle the logistics of that situation in a completely convincing way, its premise provides a sturdy backdrop for the suspenseful story of a girl striving to protect her younger brother at all costs.

Despite his best efforts, for a show where humanity is under attack, you ultimately need a reason to root for at least most of the humans. The Rain never gets to the point where you’re pulling for the water droplets, but this is one barren wasteland that makes it difficult to care about anything other than surviving it.
-
The Rain‘s greatest strength might be its clever hand with doling out information. If post-apocalyptic fiction has become too rote and familiar over the last decade, a good mystery yarn never loses its appeal, and The Rain spins mysteries well, dropping reveals and intriguing tidbits with impeccable timing. That quality makes The Rain a great binge show.
