    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Worried about this season 3. Episode 1 & 2 was not that great.

    I almost want to just stop watching the show and read the books to be done with it.
    The dynamic between the characters is off.
    They story seems rushed.
    Episode one barely made sense, had to get a recap of previous season and still - the characters, the writing the jokes just seem to go through the motions.
    The magic that made this show great seems to be gone.

    Darkly hilarious, emotionally complex, wildly fantastical, and a little funky—there’s nothing else like it, and that’s precisely what makes it such a joy to watch. Magic may be gone, but The Magicians’ cup runneth over with charm to spare.
