Sep 4, 2022Fantástico! Visuais maravilhosos e personagens carismáticos. Muitos dando nota negativa, mas sabemos bem o nome disso.

Sep 4, 2022Amazing videography and the story really draws you in. Incredible addition to the Middle-Earth visualisation!

Sep 4, 2022The first episodes just confirmed what I feared before - this is not Tolkien, this is not Middle-earth. This is a generic fantasy with wokeness and current agenda. Galadriel is some Mary Sue from a fanfiction.net story written by a teenage girl. This is bad. And totally disrespectful towards Tolkien lore.

Sep 4, 2022Это творение ужасно. Зачем это нужно , когда есть отличная трилогия?

Sep 4, 2022seriously insane how bad is this show in cinematic aspects, its all cgi also for panorama, all set in studio nothing of real. I write a review on imdb an they deleted because the show is going under 6 and they blocked all reviews becuase imdb is of amazon. Nice. In this age when something is trash you can say . Nice

Sep 4, 2022Its great. Far better so far than the Hobbit. Just the orcs are so mutch fearsome than PJs harmeless CGI goblin mess. Actors, filming, music is all great. Cant wait for more of this show. Finally back to middle earth. And I think this will be truer to the works of JRR then the movies were.

Sep 4, 2022Galadriel’s amazing and all the men are stupid. But atleast it looks good.
-
Sep 4, 2022It is not even close to Tolkien. This abomination is just bad fan fiction poisoned with modern agenda and politic interests.
Hopefully this garbage will get canceled after the first season. -
Sep 4, 2022Mais um trabalho feito por parasitas que nao são capazes de criar nada por si só, então tomam posse do bom trabalho alheio e ainda se desfazem de seus criadores.
O que vocês merecem é o esquecimento e a chacota.

Sep 4, 2022if you are not gonna respect lore just dont use the name of lord of the rings. lotr > amazon

Sep 4, 2022Garbage show. Painful to watch. This is pretty much the Kalergi Plan in action. They're erasing us from our own stories, our own culture.

Sep 4, 2022High production values leads to beautiful cinematography, but the writing leaves something to be desired. The show is a slow burn, with a lot of dialogue that's kinda clunky and it takes a while to get moving. It doesn't really feel like the original Lord of the Rings trilogy.

Sep 4, 2022Subpar writing and characters. Pretending to be Lord of the rings. Would have been a slightly below average fantasy series without misusing a great IP.

Adar’s début drips with signifiers. ... When Adar informs Arondir in Episode 4 that he has been told many lies, some that “run so deep even the rocks and roads now believe them,” it is still a thrill. Tolkien succeeded in creating a mythic world, one that has now grown vast enough through acts of typological repetition and imitation to conquer television, too.

With war brewing and the forging of the rings seemingly still far off, the first half of The Rings of Power’s first season constitutes little more than stage-setting for the struggle to come. Given the lack of quests and central commanding figures, it often makes for less-than-gripping drama. However, given that there are four more seasons already planned, and potentially dozens of new characters to be introduced, the slow and throat-clearing build is possibly a good sign.

The Rings of Power is a reminder of what drew many of us to epic fantasy in the first place: wonder. ... This series set in an ancient realm displays one dazzling and painterly landscape after another. Power also doesn't skimp on action. [12 - 25 Sep 2022, p.10]
