I think this is episode people were looking g forward to the most, but again.. Just totally falls short of the source, no infected the most powerful scenes felt rushed, there was alot of almost scene for scene which was nice, but it justI think this is episode people were looking g forward to the most, but again.. Joel just seems perpetually weak now, Ellie was good in this one though.

Only one more short episode to wrap up the season.. Its not going to be enough.. It will just suddenly end in a quick and unfantasastic fashion.… Expand

Cette série commence vraiment à tirer en longueur, et le souci est flagrant pour ceux qui connaissent le jeu, et même des gens qui n'ont jamais vu le jeu abandonnent par manque de danger, action, infectés, etc... perso je n'y ai pas joué mais je regarde les Gameplay, et ce que je remarque c'est que 90% de l'action dans le jeu n'est pas retranscrit dans cette adaptation ! Et par conséquent ils comblent avec des scènes qui n'ont pas grande utilité et ca fait tirer en longueur les épisodes pour pas grand chose... Bon cet épisode est pour moi moyen, pour moi seul le 3e épisode qui n'a pas grande utilité pour l'histoire est pire que celui ci...

Les défauts commencent à être nombreux pour cette série, mais cela n'est pas du au jeux d'acteurs, l'ambiance, émotion ou autres... Mais dû au scénario qui vire toutes les actions de chaque épisode... Cet épisode le début est long, dans un jeu le passage de la chasse ca passe, mais dans une série c'est long... Le dialogue avec le chef et son 2nd aussi... La petite panique d'Ellie pour la piqure est inutile... Le groupe qui sont une cinquantaine, il y a des coups de feu et le feu et personne fait rien... Joel qui est en PLS et inconscient depuis 2 épisodes et comme par hasard se réveille et les défoncent quand les "méchants" arrivent... Bref les défauts et incohérence se voient de plus en plus... On nous montre pas le passage d'entre aide entre le chef et Ellie, ou encore Ellie qui fait un carnage dans leur village... Bref...

Et ne parlons pas des infectés qui sont, la cause de l'apocalypse et la raison pour laquelle les survivants sont comme ca, toujours aux abonnés absents (le jeu à ce moment là a déjà croisé 3 colosses minimum des centaines d'infectés, des bandits, des pillards, les chasseurs, la secte, etc...) Les modifications pour des adaptations sont nécessaires, un Copier Coller serait inutile... mais elles ne doivent pas changer l'essence de l'œuvre original... Ce n'est pas normal que je prend 2x plus de plaisir en regardant des gameplay pour comparer alors que je n'aime pas ce style de jeu !

Je met donc un 5, car c'est le 2nd épisode que je regarde où j'en suis niveau timing sur l'épisode tellement je m'ennui... Il y a de bonnes choses (pour cela que je ne comprend pas des 0.1 ou2 en note, tout comme je ne comprend pas les 10. 9 ou8...) , mais en enlevant toute l'action qu'il devrait y avoir ca gâche encore une fois l'épisode qui aurait pu être beaucoup mieux...… Expand

Another episode just missing the beats that made the game such a hit. The emotions were there, and so was the performances, but let's not pretend this couldn't have been much better. This is a story in the game where Ellie shows us what she's made of, and obliterates half of David's gang. In the show however, she is cut down from her horse early, and is brought straight to her David confrontation, which also was...rushed. Another massive flaw here is the music. If you have a listen through Gustavo Santolalla's album for the show, all the right choices are present, but, unused in the show where they once fit perfectly in the game. It just doesn't work when you keep reusing the same theme from Part II instead of the brilliant "All Gone". Lastly, leaving out Ellie's bow and arrow came off to me as very lazy. Enjoyable episode, but not without its major flaws that further contribute to the game being superior.… Expand

It could have been a great opportunity to compare how faith and religion were upended when Europe survived the Black Plague or, closer to us, cholera epidemics in the late 1800. But it is ultimately wasted on a oversimplistic, bestial resolution and complete "character assassination" of the main protagonist (the faith leader). Zik, zak, boom, boom...Action, action for little children.
It just exemplify that this is a very very narrow-minded little show, well, that is meant for a similar audience… Expand

First 27 Min's where boring as Hell with Characters that feelt like Filler Characters. Nobody needs that little Girl and the other Peoble.
