Summary: Mother Jefferson comes over to the apartment for a visit and quickly finds herself being ignored. Hurt, Mother Jefferson fakes a fall and gets all the attention she wants and proves to be an even bigger burden to Louise than usual. Meanwhile, Louise sets out to prove to George that she is better than him in a gin tournament.
