I am disappointed with this season and I will explain it with use of spoilers and facts from videos that you can go check out which the person in it explains in greater detail and has all the sources himself.
I will start with the first issue which was how the series has been handling gun control. In episode 21, when j'onn j'onzz, whom I shall from now on call jonn, said that guns are violent and that these DEO assault weapons shouldn't be used by the public even a retrofitted civilian version. First off a civilian retrofit shouldn't have military grade bullets that can shred through the armour of a shield like it did with guardians shield because that's illegal, but secondly if it is retrofitted for civilians and has gone through safety regulations then what is jonn babbling on about. Also assault weapons assume that they are fully automatic when legislation specifically states that all civilian firearms must be at most semi-automatic so the firearm dealer should have stated that the buyer either stole a military grade one or he retrofitted a civilian firearm to be fully-automatic. Jonn should have really been asking did he get it off the black market or why are you selling illegal fully automatic firearms and faking them as civilian you should be in prison, but of course this didn't happen because why would the writers do that, they are politically correct jacks that's why.
On to my second issue it actually started with season 1 but it really elevated with season 3 because they still think that aliens would be treated like a black man was 200 years ago. Also the idea that guardian shouldn't come out cause he's black is an illogical reason because that racism and discrimination so they would be in serious trouble anyways so he'd be fine. James Olsen the present boss of Cat Co. and therefore he should be getting racist threats or remarks from all his colleagues. And if not then racism shouldn't be a factor in coming out as guardian. Plus if this were the case then why isn't Supergirl getting any form of alienist remarks I mean all she gets are scared people who are afraid if she lost her temper as stated by jonn back in season 1. And it is always OK to be sceptical of aliens because back 200 or so years people were afraid of black people but time and trust brought us to accept them as people like all of us. It takes time for people to get used to aliens and to prove it the only people in the Supergirl universe who would disagree with that statement would be Supergirl and alien, Alex Danvers her sister since supergirl was like 12 or so, jonn who is also an alien, Winslow Schott Jr. who loved the idea because he is a scientist and a lover literally of Superman, James Olsen a guy who has known superman since soon after he started his career at The Daily Planet and has been friends with him and Supergirl ever since and the DEO who has worked to fight or help aliens for a very long time who by the way was led by jonn who impersonated Hank Henshaw their original leader who was presumed dead by jonn who later was Cyborg Superman. The only one who is not fond of aliens or anti-gun laws is Lena Luthor a genius and a woman who's brother was jailed by Superman which is fair but she can have her scepticism but you don't have to agree with her. She didn't have a good connection with aliens so instantly she became cautious of them all with DNA testers and all that which is fair because she is entitled to her opinion and she cannot be silenced by others because of it.
My final reason but only because of word limit or I could go on forever, is this man-hating philosophy and women-empowering feminist movement. This was mainly portrayed in season 1 with General Lane but it happened in season 3 with small things like never touch a woman when the security guard was only doing his job and Kara Danvers should be arrested for assault but you know, plot armour. Men are portrayed as evil and stupid people but if we were the WW2 would have been hell for us today but it's because men fought for everyone thank you great granddad. General Lane said its her fault for setting that robot on national city and when it created a tornado he blamed her for saving the people and not destroying be she supposedly had the chance... although in man of steel, superman fights so much harder than her and he could easily beat her so superman stop destroying your dignity from that fight with supergirl by saying I was at prime and you beat me. hah, if you were at your prime then why are most of the buildings in national city still 100% intact after the fight, supergirl fought like a wuss so be a man next time and PUNCH HER HARD. feminism has caused all the guys to become super apologetic or a super d*** so this is an issue that needs serious fixing or else the series will go down hill super fast.
I am out of words literally so my final message is check your facts and change please! but apart from that its great. Steven Crowder is my source.… Expand
