Summary: ATP Oil & Gas is working to prevent the problem of dislodged oil platforms in the Gulf of Mexico. Hurricanes Katrina and Rita snapped the anchor tether lines of many oil platforms in 2005. A revolutionary new anchor system may prevent such disasters in the future.
