Kenobi is the best show that's come out of Disney Plus. Ewan McGregor is doing an INCREDIBLE job portraying this broken stage of Obi Wan's life. Moses Ingram is amazing, as is Hayden Christensen's portrayal of Darth Vader. Both are compellingKenobi is the best show that's come out of Disney Plus. Obi-Wan being at his lowest just shows how amazing it is he turns it around. When we see him in new hope and that brief appearance in rebels he is at peace. He isn’t now which makes me very curious how he gets to a place were he is at peace. Can’t wait to see what’s next.… Expand

It's everything I wanted and we are only a few episodes in. Darth Vader is terrifying, and Moses Ingram has been an amazing addition to the Star Wars family. Young Leia is casted perfectly and Ewan McGregor as always is embodying the character of Obi-Wan Kenobi perfectly. I normally don't take time to post my reviews but I saw that the toxic side of the Fandom is trying to hurt the show because of racist beliefs. It must be known that George Lucas originally made Star Wars a message for good fighting against the evil xenophobic (space racist) Empire. Reva is well casted and is a formidable villain but this does not take away from Darth Vader who is amazingly portrayed by Hayden Christensen.… Expand

I love the series through episode 3 (as far as they’ve gotten by the time of this writing) and, as much as I’d love to have seen OWK in lightsaber duels from the episode 1, that’s not realistic in keeping with the reality of his situation. I'm so impressed with this show so far. There are some awkward quirks, the chase scene and some of the parkour is a little cringey, but this is easy to overlook. Obi Wan feels exactly as I'd expect him to be, very disillusioned. Vader isI'm so impressed with this show so far. Couldnt quite get how he suddenly appeared off the building when Leia fell but other than that I really enjoyed the first 2 episodes. Obi-Wan makes this seem not so much like a production choice but a story. The beauty and advanced order of the Republic has fallen. Ben must deal with that in real time. It’s not more content with a kick ass hero. It’s a hero coming to terms with the fact that everything is lost and he’s desperately trying to keep hope alive. Not in the galaxy, but in himself. Да потому, что в этом сериале наконец то появились джедаи. Джедаи - основа Звёздных войн. Ёлы палы как я по ним соскучился. Джедаи - дебилы из последней трилогии не в счёт.
Наконец то в сериальном формате появились световые мечи и сражения на них. Хотя по началу было непонятно, возьмётся ли Бэн за световой меч снова или нет. Но опасения оказались напрасными. Нам снова показали настоящие бои из "Звёздных войн". Мало того показали бой с Дартом Вейдером, такого не было со времён "Изгоя один".
Макгрегор молодец, Оби Ван в его исполнении всё ещё вызывает ностальгию. В отличии от постаревшего и располневшего Фетта из "Книги", а так же нарисованного Люка из "Мандалорца".
Да есть свои недостатки. Почему то фильм очень тёмный, особенно сцены со сражениями на световых мечах. Прям светомузыка какая то, но вероятно это задумка авторов.
Конечно 40 летний Кристенсен забавно смотрится в роли 17ти летнего Энакина во флешбэках Вейдера. Но всё равно впечатляет и всё равно выглядит круто. Как будто в 2002 год вернулся.
Не очень понравился кастинг юной актрисы на роль Леи. Слишком маленькая, неубедительно играет.
Конечно хватает некой нелогичности в действиях персонажей, но это родовая травма всех диснеевских "Звёздных войн".
Хотя это всё мелочи. Я уже говорил, как по мне, то это лучший сериал из трёх вышедших. Обязательно пересмотрю все серии разом. Жду второго сезона!
Да ещё в сериале показали Альдераан, уничтоженный в четвёртом эпизоде.
Оценку ставлю именно как сериалу!… Expand

Just watched episode 5. The story and plot is very much like the comic books. It's fun, melodramatic and it's great to see Vader doing his thing. For the record, I do feel that this is technically rather weak at times. The score is usually awful, the effects sometimes feel cheap and low budget, and it fails to achieve cinematic grandeur. Almost feels like an ambitious, well done fan film. It should be more than this IMO. Still, I love the drama and overall story. It's dark and intense. Cutsey, precocious Leia character is a bit much at times.… Expand

at first i was apprehensive about Obi Wan leaving tatooine in the first place but the reason why is very believable. EP 4 is by far the worst one but even then its still fun to watch. Can't wait for the next two episodes!

Happy to see Obi-wan back on the big screen. Love that more and more Star Wars stuff is being produced. Sure it’s not perfect, but it’s definitely entertaining and fun to watch.

I'm really enjoying it so far! It's not perfect, but it doesn't have to be. It's fun. It's engaging. It continues the story of one of my favorite prequel/OT characters and does so in a respectful and compelling way.

Honestly as a long time Star Wars fan I really don't get all the hate this series gets. There is definitely some problems. Script is on the weaker side and plot holes are definitely there. Script is on the weaker side and plot holes are definitely there. What alot of the negative reviews seem to not grasp is that Obi-wan is a broken man . It's not that he "forgot" how to use the force it's that he has cut himself off from it. It's like people forgot he is in hiding and being hunted. He is broken because he thought he killed his brother and watched a good friend die. As for the third sister she is cringy at best but it's because she is not a great actress. Absolutely amazing to watch for avid Star Wars fans filled with nostalgia moments but a strong story so far by itself. Each episode is like a movie with a high production value and great acting.

This show is a welcome addition to the Skywalker Saga, giving us a glimpse at the loss and despair felt by Obi-Wan after Order 66. My only complaint is that I wish there were more episodes! Hoping for a series 2.

Very happy with the Obi-Wan Kenobi show. I'm a huge Star Wars Fan. It makes sense why Obiwan Kenobi is broken for what happened to him and Anakin after Revenge of the Sith. Excited for the last three episodes.
