Jun 7, 2022It’s amazing seeing characters and actors we’ve not seen for years reprise there rolls in a series showing us a time which fans have been wondering about for years

May 29, 2022Ewan was great. I am hopeful for where it might go, but also fearful that it might add in spykids stylized speeder gangs.

Jun 3, 2022I really enjoy the this far. It shows you a broken man long after his glory. He’s lost everything, his eyes are on one goal. Yet gets pulled out of that roll for the possible better future.

Jun 3, 2022Honestly this show has been bomb as **** Me and My dad are both star wars fans and we’re both loving it, in fact I even dare say it’s fixed mine and his relationship.

Jun 6, 2022Extremely promising start, very curious to see where they go with it. Obvious nuggets reward a lifelong star wars fan.
-
Jun 14, 2022Aside from some weird logic and shaky cinematography, Obi-Wan Kenobi is narratively strong, bolstered by great performances and the quality special effects one has come to expect from Lucasfilm.

Mar 15, 2023Season a bit mistreated, because it starts very well, but then it gets lost in gags and quotes, which to define forced or useless is an understatement. It's always nice to find Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Star Wars universe, especially in a time period like that of imperial hegemony but the real question is: what was this show for? Still remains good.

Jun 23, 2022This show is really fun, although they ripped off the relationship between Mandalorian and Grogu. Seeing the inquisitors in live action is really fun and engaging.
-
May 27, 2022So far, so good. With a production quality similar to previous Star Wars shows, Obi-Wan tells another story to fill the gaps between the Prequel and Original trilogy. While it doesn't offer anything particularly unique, it does tell a competent and engaging story...something not all Star Wars shows have succeeded at.

May 31, 2022For the first two episodes i think it was ok. I hope that the last four episodes will get better.

Jun 7, 2022This is where the fun begins :)
Because of obi wan :)
i love democracy :D -
Jun 2, 2022Strong acting helps to elevate a fairly generic story. The action scenes will hopefully improve as the episodes progresses as they are the weakest parts.

Jun 4, 2022Very decently done. It's great to see that Stars Wars is trying very earnestly to do right by their true fans by giving us something that we've wanted to see for a while. I just hope that this is the end of them relying on characters that we already know the ending for and their future stories will involve new characters.
-
Jan 23, 2023The technical aspects of this series weren't that great but the story was so good and all the performances were so good.
-
May 27, 2022Very disappointed by the first two episodes. The Leia story feels odd and really didn't want to see Obi-Wan looking for her, but going on a more philosophical quest. CGI has a kind of prequel vibe, and some scenes were as clunky as pointless. Ewan McGregor is awesome, though, and I hope Vader's involvement saves the rest of the episodes.
-
May 30, 2022great art department and Ewan is excellent as always, but feels more like the prequel trilogy than other recent shows like Mando. Weak writing, weak directing, weak editing... hope it gets better.

Obi-Wan had a larger problem: It was dumb as a rock. Simple rules of spatial logic went out the window. Main characters kept almost killing each other, and then walking away long enough for their wounded opponent could recover.
-
McGregor is wholly up to the challenge of shouldering the emotional weight of this series, which feels less like a cynical cash grab (despite being that) than a natural continuation of the saga that Lucas crafted more than two decades ago.
-
Ewan McGregor was last seen as Obi-Wan, he brings more depth, more of a world-weary wisdom to the role. ... As is the case with many a “Star Wars” title, the dialogue sometimes borders on the corny, but director Deborah Chow (“The Mandalorian”) has a keen sense of pacing and a distinct visual style that holds our interest even in the quieter moments. “Obi-Wan Kenobi” is off to a roaring start.
