This TV show is the best among Netflix's Marvel series. Excellent casting for the main character and secondary characters.

When given an open-ended continuity, Marvel properties excel at picking and choosing the best moments offered by their source material. Daredevil Season 1 does exactly that through an impressive and refreshing journey of a blind man searching for justice inside and outside of the courtroom.

Best MCU related content with the best MCU villain hands down. Matt Murdock is probably the best MCU character as well.

I'm not sure why there's so many negative reviews here. This is a solid show with strong performances, incredible fight sequences, and deep character drama.

Great show that functions as a love letter to the Frank Miller comic run, one of the all-time quality books you can read both in general and for Daredevil.

The supporting cast is very good and characters get a lot of shared screen time, exploring street level hero stuff in ways we haven't seen and providing some real grit and action like never before in this genre. At the very least,

Great writing, great acting and I get the impression that everyone that’s involved in this really cares about the show. I don’t know where to begin with this show. It’s so good. Everything about this show is perfect. It’s brutal, it’s real, it’s gritty.

Superhero stuff is usually held back so it can be suitable for kids but this it goes all out. At one point I held this show as the top

Superhero stuff is usually held back so it can be suitable for kids but this it goes all out. At one point I held this show as the top level superhero show. All the the other Marvel movies suck in comparison to this. Daredevil blew me away. Look at the movie before this and your left confused how that character can be this good with B and C list actors.

I don’t want to spoil anything but this show is for a more adult audience. There’s more adult themes and there’s some gruesome scenes in here that can be hard to watch. It’s a realistic world they built here but add on the superhero stuff on top of it. It’s the right way to do this.

This is Dark Knight levels of awesome but also Seven (movie) levels of intrigue. A must watch. Ten!

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Daredevil season 1 for me is the best season of the best Marvel Netflix show to date. Everything about this season works perfectly: the story, the dialogue, the action, the acting, the villain, etc. The backstory and origin for Daredevil are mixed in really well with Matt Murdock’s story as an adult and don’t disrupt the flow of the episodes or season at all. Murdock’s struggle to balance his work life with his vigilante life and how that struggle impacts his relationships with his friends is interesting and engaging to watch. The action and fight choreography are top notch; the hallway fight is probably the best action sequences in any of the Marvel Netflix shows, and other sequences raise the bar as well. Overall they show how much ass Matt Murdock can kick despite how vulnerable he really is and the fact that he doesn’t have any overly fancy superpowers. This show uses its supporting characters well and not only gives them moments to impact Murdock but also to effect the show itself and almost be more than supporting characters. The acting overall is fantastic; every substantial cast member makes the best out of the screen time they’re given and we see some actors who we haven’t seen much of before really shine in this show and show us what they’re capable of as actors. But, with all that said, the villain is where this season succeeds the most. Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk/Kingpin is an intimidating, effective and scary villain and is all of that without any special abilities other than his influence and power. There are people like Kingpin who exist in the world today, which makes him even scarier. D’Onofrio doesn’t just play this character, he defines this character and is likely the only actor who could ever truly play him on the big or small screen. This season does something that we haven’t really seen before, which is to give the villain a backstory. We learn about Fisk’s past in one of the episodes, and it adds a lot of depth to the season and Fisk’s character. His fate at the end of the season leaves room for future storytelling, something a lot of villains don’t get. At the end of the day, other than Murdock’s abilities and him being a one-man army, everything about this show is completely realistic of situations we can and do see in the real world, a luxury we don’t get with so many other superhero movies and TV shows. With a few law concepts thrown into the mix as well, Daredevil season 1 is a must-watch for fans of the character and Marvel fans in general. Expand

This is a great series. The choreography for the fight scenes is top-notch. There are some amazing hallway combat scenes. Solid performance from the actors across the board, especially Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio, who plays a fantastic villain.

Daredevil Season 1 is a great series that will charm those looking for violent Marvel.
Now, it has a big problem: dynamism.
You're practically going to feel that the episodes are very similar to each other and no apparent change.
Also, in the middle of the season there is a change in the dynamic of the series that is remarkable: much less action.

Vincent D'Onofrio's return as the Kingpin really makes this season but I will say this. I am getting a bit sick of each season of a Marvel show building up a villain's origin to then have them return in full form for the following season. They did this with Kingpin, then Elektra, and now Bullseye. Overall very well done, but the last episode could have had more action, drama and twists.

Daredevil - Season 3 definitely one of the worst season. There are so many plot holes in the storyline, Terrible direction making it more of a "cheesy season" I laughed when the agent addressed Fisk as " KINGPIN" the direction was sure immature & laughable at that scene! Episode Karen was absolutely **** and totally unnecessary. Bullseye at one point of time is stopped by Karen - FUNNYDaredevil - Season 3 definitely one of the worst season. Huge plot mistake !!! He should have just gone after Daredevil. In the latter part of the series, they have shown FISK had arranged Agent Nadeem's sister's health policy to be revoked? Come on its so cheesy & overdone. It was so laughable some of the scenes. The season focused so much on Foggy & Karen with less talking to Daredevil !!! In one of the episodes, Agent Nadeem tells Daredevil " you have lost so much" BIG FLAW as Agent Nadeem does not know what Daredevil has lost ! Very bad direction they were trying to get the audience emotionally inclined to Daredevil's character :-( Bullseye ( Dexter ) scenes are so cheesy specially when he is interacting with Agent Nadeem after he is identified such a joke & overly done Expand

Amazing action scenes, best so far in this series. Direction and writing + great cast made this prolly the best season on the Nextflix MCU. Kingpin made a great job as villain. I feel bad for Iron Fist and Luke Cage but they miss what Daredevil have: quality of writing and direction.

Season by season,. episode by episode this show is simply doing great. I Loved the way they are slowly but steadily developing the character. It does keep suspense Alive and give us in-depth information about the character. Excited for next season since daredevil is going to be on Bullseye's hit list!

A good origin story with compelling characters, Fisk is great and the action is amazingly shot and the story avoids the bathos that drags down marvel properties for me.

Tropes, implausibility, and lack of continuity plage this season just like the last. The story is more grounded, but the magic wipe-off beatings that magically heal with a little water, or the massless objects that are tossed with lethal impact even though that breaks a few laws of physics, are just some of the issues. The age old device of breaking up of the band, only to have it come back together to win the day, is quite possibly one of the worst oldest and most over-used story devices in comics. To see it transverse onto the screen in this was was just lazy. Finally, for the "man without fear", Daredevil/Matt certainly shows a lot of it this season. One positive is that the last episode is everything we wanted from the entire season, unfortunately it was only one of thirteen. Far too little for more than a 6.5.

For those claiming constant concussions, two story falls onto hard ground, major lacerations healing in a few days, or Fisk knowing exactly when to make a phone call (to the second) is realistic, should really seek the care of a physician.

Excels the dissaponting screenplay of 2003. Narrates the genesis of man wihout fear according to actual age with a grim touch closer to Frank Miller; Vincent D`Onofrio grabs the attention as Wilson Fisk.

It's rich with character development, don't get me wrong--honestly, there's a point where you almost feel that you understand the supervillain better than the superhero--and offers up a lot of entertainment along the way. It's just not "The Wire."

Some of the show’s episode-by-episode plot threads do come across as perfunctory filler. And Daredevil has a tendency to stretch out its conversational scenes to the point of enervation, especially with regard to Fisk’s attempts to romance an art gallery owner (played by Man of Steel’s Ayelet Zurer). However, the show makes up for those missteps with its clear and compelling voice.
