Alrighty. So in all honesty, I haven't actually seen any of the last seasons of Agent's of S.H.I.E.L.D and personally thought that that first season was pretty darn horrid the episodes I saw before dropping it. I loved this...And I hated Shield to began with. I'm absolutely loving the tone and really looking forward to see where they go, as it seems the way in which they are setting up the Darker supernatural side of Marvel is amazing.

Yeah, Brilliant start point. Can't wait to see where the series goes as we learn more and more about the Ghost Riders origins. *Fingers crossed for a Johnny Blaze cameo*

El nuevo Ghost Rider es genial y una gran incorporación, sin embargo, esta serie no llega a alcanzar los estándares de las últimas 2.

I'm not worried about the first few episodes being a bit slow and rambling, this is typical of how this series builds up a storm from a rustling of leaves on the ground. Once the foundations of the characters are laid out, the storyline starts to build up and things get juicy.

I'm liking where it's going with the dark undertones and questions of trust. What it means to be a team has really has been present all through this series as a major theme, and now it seems to come full circle with the building of a new team perhaps, while trying to hold on to the strings of the past team.

Co-created by Joss Whedon, whose magic touch for storytelling, humour, themes of friendship, and deep character development is legendary, this show is the most fun tv hour each week for me!

Ok. I'll go stratight to the point... Learn people. This is how you do the ghost rider. Fantastic job abc, he looks amazing and the story and action sequencies are awesome. Not to lie, I've loved the series from the beginning but didn't have such high hopes for it but every season kept coming back better and better and now it's over the roof... Loved every second of it. 10/10

So with this show ending its fourth season, what can we take from these episodes. Whe i was watching season 3 and dealing with the inhumans as the main plot, i felt that realm would be the best balance for this show, the powers and x-men feel for the inhumans with shield trying to maintain some order against the threat of HYDRA. But in the end, it didn't pan out, mostly with how they played it, the way they decided to develop the characters, and mostly that the story itself didn't felt that intersting or connected to the main MCU. So all in all, I was not very excited for another season of a show that felt going worse with each new one, even with the Ghost rider announced. But surprise, surprise, this season actually got better, and not only because of the new characters introduced, or the new mythos, but mostly because the characters that we already had were put in new and interesting situations that forced them to develop not only as part of a story, but as human characters, with good emotional changes and challenges on their way. Although not the whole season was a the same level, it mantained a consistency of good acting and good, strong development for the characters what we have come to associated with SHIELD in the MCU, with the new ones not wasted at all, but adding to the deeper mythos of the whole universe. While I would love for some of the characters (Ghost rider in particular) to pop into other marvel properties, and I would love for better connections with the main MCU, this season as a whole holds out much better and probably becomes the best out of the four so far. I'm glad that the show was renewed, although I'm still not that confident that they can pull another out of the hat, maybe at least making it entretaining. Soo good job guys, just know your limits and if you can, maybe the next one can the a good send off for this series, and use that as a platform to improve all the other shows of the MCU, including the new ones (looking at you inhumans). Recommended for fans of the series even if the lost hipe with last season, or big fans of marvel or the MCU. For anyone else, maybe a watching on netfilx, but if you have a lot of other stuff on your list, not that big of a priority. Expand

Very confused the season, in some moments is lost, in others it surprises, ok, perhaps the least liked.

I'm a Marvel fan who has really mixed emotions about the whole cinematic universe, from the Fox and MCU movies to the ABC and Netflix TV. I guess like any really big 'world' there are upside and downs, with the biggest down probably being the fact that properties originally conceived by Marvel are not all under one umbrella where they can co-habitate. The result is a mishmash of universes where fans just instinctively know they'd work better together. Some properties are thriving (The Avengers, Deadpool), others are somewhat uneven (The Defenders, X-Men) and still others are downright sucking (Fantastic Four), and from the get-go I'd put Agents of SHIELD into this last category. The first season made me shake my head and realize we really weren't going to get much, and I'll admit, I was so disinterested in its cheesy Bond-esque approach that I skipped the second season altogether. Reading some reviews suggesting the show was heading into bona-fide comic book superhero/villain territory, improved CGI, action, dialog, writing and acting, caused me to revisit the series starting with season 3, and I hungrily devoured these last two seasons almost non-stop. This last season in particular has left me feeling as excited and energized as I did after watching Civil War or Days of Future Past - the pace was brisk, the acting ranged from good to exceptional, with really well-crafted storytelling using layers of plot lines that weave together fluidly. The fact that we're now fully in the Marvel universe, with bad ass team-ups between the likes of Quake and Ghost Rider, deep and complex characters like The Patriot and Aida, and an android/virtual reality plot line on par with the best The Matrix had to offer, makes me as proud of this series as anything on offer from Marvel.

Any Marvel fan who gave up on this early on, and for good reason, owes it to themselves to come back to it and see how the series has totally come into its own. Clark Gregg's Agent Coulson is always phenomenal, a good guy in the vein of Twin Peaks' Agent Cooper who you simply can't help but root for - the kind of hero you'd want to have your back if this stuff were real. He holds it all together with a team of characters who, in the beginning were SO cliché, but who now are a well-oiled machine with a lot of depth and chemistry. The series has really hit its stride and I can't wait for the next season. Actually, I'm going to do myself a favor and watch the second season. They've earned that.

I think I should warn you first that the last third of season 4 is much more grim and darker than anything else you have seen in the show. They even change the title there and there is no warning. With this done lets start at the beginning. There is a time gap between the conclusion of season 3 and the start of season 4. They even change the title there and there is no warning. With this done lets start at the beginning. There is a time gap between the conclusion of season 3 and the start of season 4. There are some mayor changes as Phil Coulson has given up being director of Shield to make room for Jeffrey Mace who is a public relations dream and should fix all problems of Shield with the press and public. Daisy has now adopted the name Quake and is a vigilante hero (Not part of the team anymore). Holden Radcliffe has archived a pardon and works with Shield. Jemma and Fitz are finally in a relationship (Finally Fitzsimmons came true;-). Elena (Yo-Yo) has now registered to the Sokovia accords. The timeskip events make the story itself a bit weaker at the start for me but when it takes momentum it works well. This season has again the staple of great twists and a lot of character developments. No one will be the same person after the conclusion or after some impactful events. The main story deals with something even Nick Fury feared and this is no easy task as he did not falter being shot, during an alien invasion or dealing with some scary problems as director of Shield. There is more but this would be to much spoiler territory. I am still a bit divided by the darker parts at the end. It is an increase by a magnitude if not more compared to everything else. I stopped watching for a few days. To clarify: It is not bad and actually well done. There are however a few scenes that are extra shocking and you would not believe me if I told you some events. There are also a few developments for the relationships between the characters that I enjoyed. Again the whole cast delivers but I want to specially praise Iain De Caestecker as Leopold Fitz who impressed me even more and you will look differently at him, John Hannah as Holden Radcliff who has an amazing arc and Mallory Jansen as Aida who has an equal if not even better arc. I also want to praise Gabriel Luna for his role as Robbie Reyes. He was a great addition and became a favorite for me. Jason O’Mara as Jeffrey Mace who I disliked first won me over after some time. He is a true hero while still be a human with flaws and struggles. As always the special effects work well for the whole show. I have yet to find a misstep after 4 seasons. The action scenes are intense and here are a lot of awesome fights. I know I write this for every season but it is a staple and as always impactful. Overall this season delivers but it has a few weaknesses. I disliked the beginning of the season (timeskip / some developments), the last third is too dark for me (too much without warning) and I don't like a part of the conclusion while I still do not know what I have to make out of the teaser scene for season 5 (Not started to watch it yet). I think I recommend it to you as I gave a fair warning for the darker parts. Expand

This season was the closest I've seen to a perfect 22 episode season, felt tight and had no filler, intense all throughout, unpredictable roller-coaster. Ghost Rider and LMD tech deliver promising new territories for Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s darker fourth year, including a surprising willingness to tap into Marvel’s less glamorous mythologies.
