Apr 19, 2018Dr Smith absolutely ruins this series. The character is so cliché which becomes really annoying. Very unfortunate as the other characters were developed reasonably well. Don West is great.

Apr 19, 2018This is so bad. The acting is bad, everything is so predictable. Really bad directing. Do not waste your time watching this cheesy TV Serie. They made so much advertising for this but the result is very poor.

Apr 18, 2018I think this show is amazing. All these lame reviews from such revered critics comparing this to battle star, or its original. This is a stand alone show, with its own unique spin. Praying for a 2nd season!

Apr 14, 2018Great sci-fi family fare. Not so much gore and guts... visually stunning. West is our poe dameron roguelike character. Smith is palpatine's evil twin sister manipulating the entire situation constantly and will is naive little Anny. very well written and fun a joy to watch.

Apr 17, 2018The new series is really very good. They managed to take the essence of the original series and updated to our current time.

Apr 16, 2018What an amazing reboot. This was an inventive twist on a great show. I can’t wait for season two. I even joined this metacritic site just so I could vote and encourage Netflix to keep it going.

Apr 22, 2018Not your parents Lost in Space but very enjoyable. It has flaws, and characters that grate but overall I recommend it. However, if I was in charge on that planet I would cast the Robinsons adrift because otherwise I would have shot them for being so arrogant.

Apr 23, 2018Great visual treat! Turn off the brain and enjoy. Only complaint is the little boy. Kept getting into trouble or doing stupid stuff to threaten the family and nobody noticed? That part seemed weak writing. Keep up the work Netflix. Either good or bad, we need more chances to see new stuff like this.

Apr 15, 2018The quality of this movie is amazing! The special effects, the 4K source are just top quality. but the tv series isn't. I quickly LOST my interest.

Apr 17, 2018I loved this show. First rate production, excellent cast, great story and amazing special effects, I'm hopeful there will be a season 2 and after watching the final episode, I do believe there will be a sequel.

Dec 29, 2018In short - great for kids around 8-12 years old. Technical quality is great, proper mix of CGI and real props, interesting questions asked. Just keep in mind that it's meant for kids and don't expect deep dark story, blood or X-rated content.

Apr 17, 2018The setting of the show its self is outstanding! The rising action in every episode is amazing as well. the producer should consider a season 2 and probably more. This is more than a show; this is art.

Apr 19, 2018The characters are well crafted. Dr. Smith is the Devil herself and very well played. The storyline and backstory is well written and excellent. I give it 10 out of 10, and pooh-pooh on the skeptics... or is that poo-poo on the skeptics. Both work just fine. Cheers.

Posey plays the role with a gravity that encourages the show to orbit her, eccentrically, whenever she’s in view. The dynamic exemplifies the awkwardness of this muddled update. Charging in several directions at once, it asks the viewer to imagine efforts to secure a proud future for humankind, but it seems most vital when painting depraved schemes to survive.

Oddly enough, it’s the robot who proves most engaging. ... What really makes the robot stand out is its complexity. It’s mysterious, both in its origins, intentions, and inability to over-communicate. The human characters don’t earn the same mystery.

The thrill of exploration, or the examination of family dynamics, never feels like it arises organically from the action, in the way it might have on the show’s most obvious forebear that isn’t its direct predecessor: Lost.
