San Francisco put up over 330 of offense on the Bears on the road, which is unheard of in the postseason, en route to a 28-3 victory, and a spot in Super Bowl XXIII. In the AFC title game, the Bengals won by playing defense and running the ball, as they defeated the Bills 21-10, placing them in Super bowl XXIII for the 2nd time in team history. So Super bowl XXIII will feature a rematch of Super Bowl XVI back in the '81 season. Most of the 49ers players are the same, but some of the Bengals players, like quarterback Boomer Esiason, will be in their first Super Bowl game. Len and Nick discuss what occurred in the conference title games, and then talk about how important it is to have Super Bowl experience when you're going into Super Sunday like most of the 49ers are, after winning Super bowl XIX.
