Summary: Week 15 and the 1987 NFL Season are now in the books, and the Redskins go into the bye week on a high note after beating the Vikings 27-24. San Francisco goes in on a good note after shutting out the Rams 48-0. On a side note, the Giants win the battle of New York over the Jets 20-7. The division winners in the AFC are the IndianapolisWeek 15 and the 1987 NFL Season are now in the books, and the Redskins go into the bye week on a high note after beating the Vikings 27-24. San Francisco goes in on a good note after shutting out the Rams 48-0. On a side note, the Giants win the battle of New York over the Jets 20-7. The division winners in the AFC are the Indianapolis Colts, the Cleveland Browns, and the Denver Broncos. The Seattle Seahawks and Houston Oilers will be playing in the Wild Card Round next week. In the NFC, the division winners are the Washington Redskins, the Chicago Bears, and the San Francisco 49ers. The Minnesota Vikings and the New Orleans Saints will be playing in the Wild Card Round next week. The Colts have their first postseason berth since the early 1970's when Johnny Unitas was still playing, and the New Orleans Saints, a few years after finishing the 1984 season 1-15, are now in the playoffs.
