Summary: Week 3 is now history, and the Bears move to 3-0 after defeating the Eagles 35-3, while the defending Super Bowl Champion Giants continue to struggle after losing to the 49ers 41-21, dropping Big Blue to 0-3 for the season. Although the season took a back page headline after the Players Association went on strike for the second time in 5 seasons, but this time the franchises made due by hiring replacement players to not shorten the season again like it did back in 1982.
