Summary: Week 5 is now complete, and the Jets have assumed first place by themselves after defeating the Buffalo Bills 14-13, and with Miami falling to the Patriots 34-7 and both of them are now 3-2. The Broncos, Bears, and Redskins are all still perfect at 5-0 after Denver defeated the Dallas Cowboys, Chicago shut out the Vikings, and Washington,Week 5 is now complete, and the Jets have assumed first place by themselves after defeating the Buffalo Bills 14-13, and with Miami falling to the Patriots 34-7 and both of them are now 3-2. The Broncos, Bears, and Redskins are all still perfect at 5-0 after Denver defeated the Dallas Cowboys, Chicago shut out the Vikings, and Washington, in a defensive battle, knocked off the Saints 14-6. October football is just underway, and Len and Nick look at the undefeated teams and see if they can keep it up during the course of the season, which still has 3 months left to go. Also, don't count out San Francisco just yet; thanks to an effective backup quarterback in Jeff Kemp and a stud rookie receiver Jerry Rice, the 49ers are still in the thick of things in the postseason race, and competing with only the L.A.
