Some say they are disappointed in the last season of "House Of Cards" due to the absence of Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey). While I definitely enjoyed watching Francis Underwood, this season still had all the political intrigue we're used to. Yes, it is completely preposterous. Who can get away with killing 13 people? Yes, season 6 (and the series as a whole) is very dialogue heavy (but that's what happens when people are scheming). Robin Wright does an excellent job as a stone cold b#$%^ that no one should mess with. I also think the shorter eight episode season (instead of the usual 13) is a great improvement. The one thing "House Of Cards" has taught me if that I NEVER EVER want to go into politics. Expand

I thought there wasn't an existing way to end up the show with dignity, and it costed a few episodes and homemade chromakey scenario (as I have never seen before, bad) to it but worth completely the fight. I will miss Claire.

Robin Wright does a great job of taking the complete reigns of this horse, the same way that Claire Underwood takes Frank's presidency and ramps it up to 11. House of Cards does a great job of wrapping up character arcs and plots while not evening having to show what will come next.

This season challenged my acuity enjoyably. President Hale kills it! Where's Season 7?

House of Cards. Season 6. The house fell apart. This happened. The main star of the series was removed, the script was rewritten, they added fashionable themes to all this, made fewer episodes and what came of it ... A very weak ending for such a masterpiece in the world of serials. The first 4 episodes are boring dialogues with characters that turn out to be very important, so they wereHouse of Cards. Season 6. Yes, the finale was so weird, but Robin Wright carried the season even with the clumsy plot.

Every now and then, the nearly overwhelming clutter of characters and storylines gives way to intense, revealing scenes featuring only Claire and Annette. Thanks to the electrifying performances of Wright and Lane, in those moments “House of Cards” is as good as it’s ever been.

The story of Season 6 just doesn’t cohere; it barely even tracks well enough to summarize. In a way, the total breakdown is sort of beautiful; it’s like watching the story collapse in upon itself, a deserted building, carefully demolished.

Robin Wright is many things, but possessed of a light touch she is not. Her grim addresses--to the camera, and to anyone within camera range--are steely and unceasing, with very little variation in tone or emotion. It doesn’t help that the dialogue--for nearly every character, but especially for Claire--is stilted. ... The show has gotten rid of its biggest troublemaker without replacing him with new trouble that would be more entertaining.
