Summary: As Johnny prepares a meal for Tina and Ruby, he keeps telling Ruby they are just friends as she tries to find out what the relationship is about. Tina arrives feeling nervous. Ruby realises that she's seen Tina before - she was in the cab that nearly ran her over. Johnny's on edge as Ruby asks Tina a lot of questions about why she is inAs Johnny prepares a meal for Tina and Ruby, he keeps telling Ruby they are just friends as she tries to find out what the relationship is about. Tina arrives feeling nervous. Ruby realises that she's seen Tina before - she was in the cab that nearly ran her over. Johnny's on edge as Ruby asks Tina a lot of questions about why she is in Walford and where she works. Garry, Minty and Alfie prepare to go speed-dating. Garry advises Minty on his clothing choice and gives them tips on how to read a woman's body language. Alfie doesn't buy it and wants to get the night over with, while Minty gets confused trying to take it all in.Ruby continues to probe Tina who finds it all amusing but Johnny asks Ruby to stop being so nosy. Tina listens to them talk to each other about music and is charmed by their relationship. At the speed dating, Garry flirts outrageously and manages to offend all of the women he talks to. Minty's rather tongue-tied and Alfie's his natural self. Alfie admits to a woman that his mind is on someone else, Little Mo, and that he shouldn't have ignored his feelings for her.When Tina is in the bathroom, Ruby tells Johnny to admit she's his girlfriend. Johnny tells her it's early days and that Tina will never replace her mum. When Tina comes back, she thanks Johnny for telling Ruby the truth. Everything is going great until Tina accidentally makes a comment about being mother' with the coffee. She immediately appolgises to Ruby who tells her it's fine. Tina says goodbye and leaves but Johnny insists on walking her. He tells her the night was perfect and that Ruby will just need time to adjust. Minty follows Garry's advice and tries mirroring women's body language. They think that he has a nervous tic and it causes embarrassing situations. To his great relief, the final bell rings and the event's over. The boys check over the score board Minty's thrilled that someone's ticked his name. Garry demands a recount as no one's marked him down and they are both jealous that Alfie's been a hit with everyone, but he didn't tick anyone in return.When Johnny gets home, Ruby confesses that she felt awkward meeting Tina, but admits that she likes her. Johnny assures her that it'll get easier as they get to know each other. Expand
