Gus lays into Juley for lying about his flash lifestyle. Juley admits that he's ashamed he's achieved nothing. Gus doesn't stay mad for long and is amused to hear what Juley has been up to. He vows to get out of Gus's life but Gus wont hear of it.

Mickey asks Dawn to come back to Walford with him to see the family. It's clear that she's put off visiting because of Keith. Mickey wants her to give him a chance. Dawn argues that she'd lose face if she returned to Walford.

Minty decides to make a go of things in France. Garry tries every trick in the book to lure him back to Walford. The pair embrace before Minty heads off. Garry hitches a ride to the chanel crossing. Minty's French pals are excited that he is staying and begin to celebrate. However, its not long before Minty gets bored.

As Mickey and Dawn argue about Mike, he appears behind them. Mike explains why he turned back to find Dawn and Mickey. He couldn't shake the image of the two of them from his mind. For the first time in his life he stopped running away. Dawn decides to go with Mike but he tries to convince her that she'll regret it. Mickey asks Mike to staying in touch with them. He returns Minty's money and asks Mickey to look after Dawn.

At the port, he lads are shocked when Minty appears. Gus mocks him for only lasting a couple of hours in France. Minty jokes that he couldn't understand a word of the language. Dawn gives in to Mickey and agrees to visit Walford. She reckons that returning will be the worst decision that she's ever made. Despite this she seems to enjoy all the male attention as they head back to England.
