I'm seeing it now: this show has let go of all vexations to satisfy the majority masses, embracing tone-deaf humor with such obvious pride that we can't help but acknowledge the amount of ridiculousness it has achieved. This show keeps getting better. Finally there are no filler episodes and the season works as a whole. But the cliffhangers last minute are really tiring at this point.

In an attempt to build out the world and the rest of the bloated ensemble, Disenchantment not only shortchanges its heroes but also loses sight of what made the series modestly fun in the first place.
