Summary: Petofi holds Charity captive and sends Charles to tell Quentin that if he doesn't come to the cottage in half an hour, Charity will die.

Charles goes to Collinwood and finds Barnabas instead. He tells Charles that Quentin has already left Collinsport. Reluctantly, Charles agrees to take Barnabas to Petofi instead. BarnabasPetofi holds Charity captive and sends Charles to tell Quentin that if he doesn't come to the cottage in half an hour, Charity will die.

Charles goes to Collinwood and finds Barnabas instead. He tells Charles that Quentin has already left Collinsport. Reluctantly, Charles agrees to take Barnabas to Petofi instead.

Barnabas arrives at Petofi's cottage. Petofi is angered at getting Barnabas instead, but soon realizes that he can take his body into the future instead of Quentin's. Especially since the Collins family of 1969 will greet him with open arms.

Petofi causes Barnabas to lose consciousness and lays him on the couch. He then sits down and goes into a trance to take over Barnabas's body. But as he falls into his trance, Garth Blackwood, fully recovered from his wound, enters the cottage and chains Petofi's hands together so that he can't use his powers. He slaps Petofi with his gloves, causing him to wake up. Petofi tries to attack Blackwood, but finds that he can't.

Barnabas and Charity tell Blackwood that he must kill Petofi. Blackwood tells them to leave so that he may serve justice. Barnabas and Charity reluctantly leave, and Blackwood covers the place with kerosene. Petofi asks him what he's going to do, and Blackwood lights the cottage on fire.

At Collinwood, Barnabas believes that whatever is happening, Blackwood will be able to destroy Petofi. But he worries that after Petofi is destroyed, they will have to worry about Blackwood. Charity suddenly has a vision and sees the cottage burning in flames, with Petofi fighting Blackwood in a desperate struggle. She screams loudly, as she also sees Quentin's portrait burning in the flames, threatening the curse of the werewolf to rise once more.… Expand
