Summary: Gail looks out over the watery expanse of the lake, desperately hoping to see Joe - but there's no sign. In a state of panic, she phones David and insists that he catch a train up to the Lakes as soon as possible.

Worried - and sensing the desperation in Gail's voice - David agrees and a short while later, he arrives at the cottage where a distraught Gail fills him in on what's happened.
David suggests that they go to the police but Gail refuses, sure that Joe's gone ahead with his plan to fake his death and will soon return when he comes to his senses.
Intent on covering their tracks, Gail and David sail across the lake to drag Joe's boat back to the jetty. Still holding out hope, Gail insists on spending another night in the cottage in the hope Joe could return. Despite thinking she's crazy, David has no choice but to stay with her.
Meanwhile, Peter apologises to Leanne for going on another bender and promises to sort himself out. Leanne's skeptical, while an upset Simon wants to know when he can see his dad again. George, however, remains evasive.
George turns up at the bookies to talk to Peter about Simon but it soon becomes clear that he's been drinking again and a row ensues. Leanne tells Peter that he needs serious help but he won't listen to reason.
Not knowing what else to do, Leanne turns to Ken for support and they agree that they have to get Peter into rehab.
Elsewhere, Sunita tells Dev that her aged aunts will be staying - but they still think she's married to him! Lloyd suggests to Dev that he and Sunita could pretend that they're still married to keep her aunts happy. Dev secretly loves the idea of playing happy families. … Expand
