Yalding in Kent

In #2, Tracy and Chris' home was built in the 1880s and would like their sitting room to be more interesting.

Right next door, in an 1890s house, Brian and Susan would like their bedroom done.

Graham Wynne is in the bedroom and begins by taking up the carpet and sanding down the existing wood floors. They find really bad plaster on the walls, and start to peel it off, but the ceiling starts to come away too. They think it will be a huge job and Graham starts to think of the things to fix the part they uncovered. His team, of course, do not like this idea. They also fight Graham on where to put certain colors on the walls, and about having only one door on the cupboards. They also argue about the curtains, so Graham goes and buys the voile to satisfy his homeowners.

Anna Ryder Richardson has a bit of an easier time in the living room. There's an african picture that is the homeowner's favorite, so Anna is going to get her inspiration from that. She takes up the carpet and then reveals very earthy, yet bright, colors. For the walls, there will be an orange color. They cover the existing sofa and make curtains out of a rucksack-type material. Anna gets a deal on some fur coats so she wants to take them apart to cover foam sitting cubes. Carol interrupts the proceedings because the toilets have been backed up because of so many visitors. They had to get a cesspit man to come in and fix it. We return to Anna's room and they have covered the floor with some laminate of some kind.
