Chlodagh and daughter Julia would like their 14th-floor living room more versatile. Jane and friend Karen want Jane's 7th floor living room changed. Chlodagh and daughter Julia would like their 14th-floor living room more versatile.

Jane and friend Karen want Jane's 7th floor living room changed.

Linda Barker is in Chlodagh and Julia's living room. They first rip up the carpet and scrape up whatever is on the floor. The color Linda reveals is very yellow. They will sand down some existing furniture. Linda also has a very unique idea of hanging shelves with tensile wire. That decision may come back to haunt her. They paint the floor, and use a wallpaper strip around the room. The wallpaper cost £16 a meter, so they must use it sparingly. Linda bought a trellis that will be a tabletop. They then create light pedestals out of waste baskets. Finally, when they are setting up the room, they place Chlodagh's teapots on the tensile wire shelves. To add a last touch, they put books on the bottom shelf. The added weight causes the shelves to collapse and destroy all of Chlodagh's teapots. Jane gets very upset, but before any of the reveals are done, Linda goes to deliver the bad news to Chlodagh. She seems to take it in stride.

Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen is going for Hollywood 50s glamour in Jane's living room. They strip the wallpaper and the fireplace comes off. The walls will be a baby blue, and Andy will be building a new fireplace. Because he has more money this episode, Laurence spends £400 on curtains alone. However, one of the patterns Laurence chooses is not to Chlodagh's liking, so she goes out to find new ones. They end up doing a section of the curtain so that Jane could choose which one she likes and can change it on the fly.… Expand
