The homes for this episode are from two of their employees.
Patsy is the receptionist in Sir Thomas' hotel and she lives in the gatehouse. Sir Thomas will be Patsy's partner. The gatehouse was built 1450 and is grade-one listed.
Steve is the hotel manager and he lives in Chantry House. Lady Emma teams up with Steve. This house was built in the 1800's but the room feels very 70s-ish.
NEW DESIGNER Gordon Whistance is in Steve's bedroom. They will use textured paint to cover the walls. The color of the wall will be a deep red and rich creamy color. Sir Thomas has old doors in storage so Andy grabs one for paneling under the windows. Andy makes a pelmet for over the bed, new shelves for the wall and a circular table in the middle of the room. They sand and stain the floor.

Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen is in the Gatehouse. The paint is fresh lilac, white for the ceiling, different shades of blue, pale green, and a darker shade of lilac. They will be building screens to separate the doorway from the sitting room because tourists tend to walk in whenever they want thinking it's not where someone lives. Laurence wants to paint the floor a slate color and does a rainbowy/barcode effect over the fireplace.
