Aug 24, 2015Bluntly speaking, this show is disorganized trash. I am not one of those that holds contempt for a project just because Seth MacFarlane is involved. In addition, I found Jonathan Ames' last show, "Bored to Death," somewhat amusing and charming. But they combined to make an unwatchable mess in "Blunt Talk." Patrick Stewart deserves better.

Oct 12, 2015This disgusting, trashy show is so far beneath Patrick Stewart it's just sad. It's pretty much ruined his other works for me. Honestly it made me wonder if he has a touch of dementia himself to agree to appear in a show that wallows in such crudeness and filth. I truly hope that this is not his last contribution to entertainment and that he finds a way to redeem himself in the future.

There is a tenderness that runs through the series and makes the trip worth taking, however improbable the road.

Stewart and Scarborough make Blunt Talk worth watching, as they’re an offbeat co-dependent pair who clearly have great affection and respect for each other, and watching Stewart embrace Walter’s often loony behavior is a treat.

Blunt Talk is a muddled but sometimes endearingly dirty comedy.
