The dialogue on Between is horrendous, and the performances are not much better.

It is flat, filled with some surprisingly horrible performances sketching two-dimensional characters.

Truly terrible show. Netflix should have hired better actors and better writers for the show. In my opinion, the lead actors voice isTruly terrible show. Netflix should have hired better actors and better writers for the show. In my opinion, the lead actors voice is extremely annoying, and none of the actors apparently have experienced death, due to the ho-hum reactions to their loved ones dying in front of their eyes. Do better next time, Netflix. Full Review »

This review is made based on the first episode alone, untill I get to see some (If it gets better).

So far, It's really not the good.

    1) We've seen that exact premise in Dome, which so far is much better (from the very first episode).

    2) bad dialog : Let me give you an exemple. (Spoilers) The epidemic has alreay killed a few dozen people. Yet when a teenager tells his mom that they should leave the town while they can, comes the this response : "Oh Son, don't be silly. You're over reacting. We'll be just fine." Really? REALLY? I mean did the writter of this piece of crap read the news in the past year? Did they see how people lost their minds with Ebola when it actually didn't do much in the states/europe? And you expect me to believe that people living in a small city would just chill and relax when knowing that people are dying of an unknowed deseases? Get the **** out! Who wrote this ****

    3) weak/Cliché characters : **** richest dad in town? Check! His equally **** rich boy with fancy car? Check! Nerdy/hacker protagonist? Check!

Look, I am not saying the show is terrible. But so far, the first episode is extremely "average" (and I am being generous here). Maybe it will get better later on (Hated falling skies at first and loved it later on).

But from what I have seen so far, I don't think this show will have that much success.

I watched the first two episodes, but wasn't bored enough to watch any more after that. This show is painfully low-budget. Low-budgetI watched the first two episodes, but wasn't bored enough to watch any more after that. This show is painfully low-budget. Low-budget apparently means they can't hire good writers, directors, or actors. The premise is cliche, and the story just barely interesting enough to watch a few minutes of it. It isn't terrible, or the worst thing I have ever seen, but, it is pretty close, and worse than mediocre. Don't waste your time. Full Review »
