Summary: Vera is excited when her boyfriend Brian asks her one night because he has something very important to discuss. Alice and Flo thinks he may pop the question, but Vera's hopes are dashed when he breaks up with her because he has plans to marry another. This sends Vera into a deep depression and she takes to her bed and won't come out.
