"Nostalgia" is a title that takes all that was once good and lovable about the genre and reinvigorates it into a brand new adventure that is set in the real world instead of one of pure fantasy. It doesn't bring much new to the table, but takes what has worked well in the past and puts it to good use.

Despite being the third title in a spinoff series, and the 7th Mario RPG, Bowser’s Inside Story is perhaps the most imaginative and well-crafted of them all.

This is the kind of game that makes Wiiware a worthwhile feature, and shows that good hardcore games can be made for the system in any size.

Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days is one of the best DS titles that we have had in our hands in a long time.

The characters are engaging, fun, quirky, messed up, and easy to either fall in love with or hate. Santa Destroy itself is full of so many nooks and crannies that any player anal about that kind of thing will easily be able to spend several hours searching for hidden back alleys for dumpsters and lovikov balls. The game is fun, easy to grasp, has a lot of replay value (trust me), and tells an engaging story.

While 8-Bit is Enough is comically not as complex a game as some of the earlier entries, it delivers non-stop laughs that the gaming community in particular -- especially those who are also Homestar fans -- will find truly humorous.

Hating football and playing football games isn’t the best thing to do. After being forced to play this genre of games for ten years, FIFA 09 All-Play is easily the best sports game I’ve ever played. With a strong single player mode for serious gamers and a light-hearted and purely fun multiplayer casual side, it makes it an all rounder and a great game to play.

Overall, Wildlife Vet is a well designed game. The game-play is short and easy to complete, but is entertaining enough to keep players occupied and wanting to play on. In addition, the graphics and background music are both quite impressive and very well done. The controls are easy to use and are pick-up-and-go. All in all, because of the unfortunately short game-play, Petz Rescue: Wildlife Vet gets a 9 out of 10.

I know that it is almost certain that all the Zelda fans are going to buy all the titles related to the saga. I just ask you not to make the mistake of seeing "Spirit Tracks" as just an extra portable title. "Link’s Awakening" is enough proof that these versions are worthy enough and have distinguished the series since the beginning.

The story is phenomenal, the music is some of the best, and it leaves Phoenix Wright and friends off on a spectacular note.

"Big Bang Mini" really came out of nowhere and totally surprised me. What appears to be a innovative take on the vertical shooter genre then explodes into a content-rich title that is constantly changing and expanding.

Konami has done Wii owners a big favor with this "ReBirth" line of games, with its "Castlevania" title being the best of them all. As long as you don't mind the more straightforward progression and the absence of RPG elements, this is a highly recommended Wiiware download.

That being said, if you are a fan of the series you will definitely enjoy this game. This was the most fun I have had with a DS game in quite some time.

Dementium is definitely easy to interact with, and it flows quite nicely.

"Excite Bike: World Rally" has great controls and is a successful upgrade to the original version. The graphics are crisp, the new controls option is easy to pick up, and it offers unlockable content and the track editor to keep players coming back.

Long time fans will enjoy it, but the causal gamer won’t have much of a reason to rush out and buy this as it’s just a continuation of 9.

Although dungeon crawlers can be irksome, the save function is a saving grace with Orcs & Elves as it makes playing the game much more fun.

Overall Mario and Sonic at the Winter Olympic Games is vastly better than it’s predecessor. Sega listened to the feedback provided last time and made this mini-game collection much more interesting and easy to use. Unfortunately there is no online play, which even Mario Karts Wii and Animal Crossing Let’s Go to the City manage to achieve.

Dragon Quest IV is a classic RPG in every sense of the word, from its charming medieval atmosphere to its plucky cast of characters. Behind the cheerful exterior lies a tough and challenging game that requires lots of patience and time. The game will easily give the player their money's worth, and is a great starting point in the franchise that will have you waiting in anticipation for the next game.

Under the Knife 2 is a triumphant return for the Trauma Center franchise to the handheld that made it famous in the first place. While it’s a bit too familiar for its own good, and a bunch of features from the previous games are missing, the excellent game design, larger campaign and significantly improved story make this a great title. Atlus is officially 4-for-4 with this unique series.

What Bully doesn't do perfectly it makes up for by doing so much all at once and connecting it all cohesively into an entertaining world that rewards players for almost everything they decide to take the time to do.

Opoona is one of those once-a-generation type games -- for many hardcore RPG fans this will be a bit of a letdown, but for others it could easily be heightened to the level of the Mother series if another game does come out.

While still a solid game that gets its point across, it could stand to use a few more brain-training exercises or other play modes. What we get is perfectly satisfactory and will either make or break you in terms of whether or not you’re a total nincompoop or some sort of genius.

This is hands down the best party experience on any home console, one that you will want to pick up as soon as you get a chance.

New Blood is the furthest thing from what you’d call “casual”, but it’s so far from it that it also will turn away many hardcore gamers because of its unrelenting difficulty.

Shiren the Wanderer is the most brutal of the above games in every sense, with severe punishments for slight miscalculations.

A stunning little game which deserves a US release and fast. The developers have set the precedent on developing ports for the DS.

With rich characters brimming to the top with personality, an intriguing if highly coincidental plot, and tons of interesting uses of the DS, Hotel Dusk engages the mind and heart and takes players to an unexplored sector of the gaming universe and keeps them there for a long time.

Sonic Team should really just ditch Sonic games. They are onto something much better with NiGHTS and with a little more polish and tightening up, this series could become something truly magnificent.

This game may not appeal to modern gamers that haven’t played any of these before, but even with the lack of arranged soundtracks and versus modes, this is a must have for fans of the series that are missing any of these games from their collection, or simply want to have them all on one disc. Short load times and smooth play control make for an enjoyable experience at a fair price.

If you can enjoy a fun, arcade shooter for your DS, Modern Warfare: Mobilized is a fine choice.

Does it beat going out and just jogging a few laps, or going for a swim, or even going to the gym? Of course not. However, what Wii Fit brings is a fun way to get back into being active. The exercises display a good mastery over the Balance Board and a great way to show off the possibilities of the peripheral.

Mighty Flip Champs is a great action puzzle game that truly takes advantage of the DS system for more then just a map and item screen. Its multidimensional gameplay system offers a great breath of fresh air to the genre and truly feels like a game not possible on any other system.

The only real problem with ReBirth is that the quantity of content doesn’t quite justify the $10 price tag. Other than that, it’s another fantastic download from Konami and perhaps one of the best Contra titles yet.

Wii controls draw players into the game more than before, though some sensitivity issues arise from the Wii's control scheme options for certain actions (like kicking). Visuals are below expectations, which is something EA needs to work on more in the next version.

As far as completely original ground-up third party titles made for the Wii, Mushroom Men is one of the few good titles available.

The game's presentation is really awesome. Maybe it's not technically impressive, but the artistic design of the visuals is really enjoyable and a large part of what makes De Blob such a joy to play. Painting Chroma City is a fresh and satisfying experience. Multiplayer modes are fun and the way the graphics and sound combine is one of this game's greatest features.

Give Wii Music a try if you're growing lethargic of repeating the same songs in the same way over and over -- you might learn something about how music composition works, and you may discover your more creative side. Compared to other games of the genre and casual games in general, Wii Music is really more of a basic creative canvas than a "melt-your-fingers-off" game, but it enables its players to do a lot with a little and to do it nearly however they want -- it pulls this all off with a relative amount of finesse, too.

All in all, I found The Dark Spire to be very engrossing and enjoyable.

The Legendary Starfy is a solid platform game that bases the adventure on a simple but addictive gameplay. Perhaps adding some more functions for the touch screen wouldn’t have been bad, but it is not something that affects the final result.

Wii controls do nothing to improve the game, but it's still classic Battalion Wars gameplay. A bit more depth in the strategy department, but overall the game is a bit easier and shorter than the original.

It takes the Lego brand and brilliantly merges it with another genre. It offers a great learning curve and can be enjoyed by just about anyone. Definitely worth a look.

One of the most refreshing and innovative Square Enix games in many years. While it doesn't do everything perfect, its attempts at branching out are admirable.

Samba De Amigo is a welcome return to a Dreamcast classic, with tons of modes and content, as well as new songs for download. This game is well worth the price of admission. Only the bipolar difficulty and tricky IR sensitivity keep this from being the perfect Samba De Amigo experience.

Despite its flaws, My Life as a King serves as a wonderful bridge title to bring Final Fantasy fans into the sim genre (and gamers at large, for that matter), blending strategy into the mix to add ample amounts of depth to the proceedings.

Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure is a charming and welcome addition to the DS library. If you're looking for any sort of challenge, then turn around now, but if you prefer characters and light-hearted stories in your RPG. then by all means pick it up. This is a perfect title for newcomers to the RPG genre and hopefully sends a message to other publishers dumping shovelware onto girl gamers.

Although Super Swing Golf has various mechanics of a serious looking golf game, the actual style itself will put many gamers off, which is a shame. As for those of you who like golf and own a Wii, this really is a must-have.

Virtua Tennis is easily one of the better tennis games on the Wii right now.

A stellar start to the WiiWare's catalog, LostWinds sports great production values, charming atmosphere and delivers a calm, relaxing experience that makes good use of the Wii remote's pointer controls.

Wii owners should consider themselves lucky that Homestarrunner.com and Tell Tale games have given the Wii a bizzare yet awesome game series. It is well worth the investment and can be enjoyed by just about anyone without being dumbed down to the lowest common denominator. If you are a long time fan of the cartoon, consider it a 9.

For many players, the fact that the incredibly simple premise of drawing is entirely tainted by the need to spend many hours on the game may be off putting. However, for those people who have the time to put more than seven to ten hours into a game, Doodle Hex is incredibly rewarding. With a rich and fulfilling battle system, and an interesting (albeit slightly contrived) storyline, is entertaining. This title is a must for all fans of anything challenging or difficult.

The title offers up everything a puzzle fan could expect and want.

The end result has pretty good pacing and plenty of laughs for fans. The wait for Dangeresque 3 was worth it -- and yes, it's even in 3D, too, as promised.

The sum is greater then the whole with Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings. The two player adventure is well done, and the classic Fate of Atlantis game holds up to this day.
