Sniper Elite is a fun game if you play in coop. Alone you will really challenge yourself, and quickly notice the game was meant to be played with a partner. It looks good, but could have been better. The x-ray shots keep on being really cool and during the nine hours the game lasts, you will not get bored easily.- XGN

Vampire: The Masquerade Swansong is a narrative driven game that delivers an interesting plot, through the eyes of three totally different vampires. Sadly the game fails to fully commit to that story and stumbles along the way. While there are some memorable moments of joy and euphoria, there are as many moments that you'd rather just play something else. Many game mechanics work more against you rather than helping you, and on a technical level the game sometimes feels sluggish at best.- XGN

Rolling Gunner + Overpower is a really cool shmup. The game gives you a big spree from the start and lets you battle huge bosses with bullet hell guns. Unfortunately the game is really short and there is no co-op mode available. Still ,this is a game you must play, even if the price is a bit high.- XGN

Dolmen is a Soulslike in a Dead Space setting: a dark, alien-infested space-environment filled with gore. The gameplay is what you'd expect from a Soulsgame, but has very little to add to the genre. The energy-management is a nice addition, as is the possibility to relive previous boss battles for extra nanites, the game's version of Souls. In the end, the game is too firmly stuck in the classic gameplay of Souls games, while the genre has progressed with the likes of Elden Ring.- XGN

It's funny that The Kaito Files works so well without Judgment protagonist Yagami. Kaito's charm and past keeps you entertained throughout this short, but sweet adventure that's got all the classic Yakuza charm with a great new story.- XGN

Each sport in Nintendo Switch Sports is enjoyable and uniquely developed. Just like its predecessors, is this a perfect game to play at parties because of the easy-to-master controls. If you're planning to play by yourself I wouldn't recommend this game, because it will feel more like a tech demo instead of an actual videogame. The new Sports Mates also lack the charming characteristics of the Mii characters, so each match will feel like you’re playing against the same boring robot over and over again.- XGN

It is a pity that the game has not been given a newer jacket, because the appearance due to the graphics is now not completely up to date. But if you play long enough, the jacket secretly fits like a glove and you have a smile on your face non-stop when you play Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition and that's ultimately what counts!.- XGN

The Ascent provides a vibrant, living environment for you to run around in and shoot at. The world is brimming with walking-talking NPCs and neon-filled areas. While the story isn't really that memorable, it's decent enough for you to push on to the next mission, which will lead you to diverse locations and up against different enemies. The bigger enemies can be a bit too much bullet sponges, but otherwise the gameplay and diverse possibilities are quite satisfying.- XGN

Hotel Transylvania Scary Tale Adventures is a very entertaining game for the kids, but not as fun as the movies. The game gives you the adventures of three fairy tales but in vampire style. All three stories are funny. You will have to platform a lot and with that an annoying feature comes up: the camera which doesn't always help. Next to that the game is one to play, but we would wait until it is on sale.- XGN

Despite the battles being a bit of a letdown, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim is a must have for those who love plot driven games. Up until the very last moment you're still not sure of what's going on, but that's not annoying. Far from it: every single plot twist just makes it harder to put your console away.- XGN

TT Games has outdone itself by reinventing the LEGO formula to create the most complete Star Wars game in history. The mechanics have been reworked to suit both young and old players, while keeping that great LEGO humor throughout. As Ben Kenobi would say: "This is the Star Wars game people are looking for!"- XGN

WWE 2K22 is a definite improvement over the last game thanks to a great gameplay flow that enhances the fights in major ways. The deep customization has taken a hit however and a few bugs and glitches also keep the game from achieving greatness.- XGN

After the Fall is a fine VR-shooter if you're up for blasting some zombies with your friends. The gunplay is good and the Snowbreeds that are coming to kill you will haunt your nightmares. It's a shame the game lacks variety and is pretty short to boot.- XGN

With the next-gen version Rockstar has brought us the ultimate version of Grand Theft Auto 5. The graphics have been improved a lot, the loading times are much faster and the PS5-version even has a couple of features for the DualSense controller. The question, however, is whether you want to replay the same adventure again, as there is no new content, nor any improvements or additions to the gameplay. A version purely made for newcomers or true fans of GTA 5.- XGN

This game tries to do a lot. It re-tells the story of the very first Final Fantasy, but is also an Origin story. It tries to pay homage to 35 years of FF games, but also provide a new experience. It wants to be a Souls game, but without the Souls difficulty, a hacker-slasher and a loot game. Against a backdrop of sub-par graphics, some choices work, some don't. The combat is pretty good, while the graphics, level design and story let down. This entry to the Final Fantasy multiverse won't be for the ages.- XGN

Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands looks a lot like Borderlands 3 and plays a bit like it as well. Luckily, the Wonderlands offers up a fantastic setting full of great enemies and humor that hits a lot better. It's a shame the Overworld feels so unnecessary, although there is plenty of fun to have thanks to the bigger focus on customization.- XGN

Kirby and the Forgotten Land is a great adventure that's great to play. The colorful design brings this 3D Kirby adventure to life, while additions like the mouthful powers add are a fun new twist to the gameplay. It's a shame the co-op is a bit poor due to player 2 not getting the full range of powers. Nonetheless, this is a Kirby game that is worth your time.- XGN

Ghostwire: Tokyo is a thrilling paranormal rollercoaster with ups and downs. Exploring the city of Tokyo is fun and defeating your first few enemies is a blast, its flaws also become apparent very quickly. The game lacks enemy variety and the same goes for Akito's weapon arsenal. Ghostwire gets a little repetitive and sadly doesn't find a way to fix that problem before the credits roll.- XGN

Disco Elysium is wonderfully strange and absurd, but uses this weirdness to discuss very real topics. The new voice acting from the Final Cut is a great addition that really fills the world with character and gives you an idea of the multicultural space. Apart from a bug here and there and slightly wonky controls, there is very little wrong with the game.- XGN

With Dawn of Ragnarok, Ubisoft has finished the Assassin's Creed Valhalla-arc, and it does so with style. Players can explore a huge new world and use new powers, which add a whole new layer to the gameplay. Besides the storyline there is plenty to do in Svartalfheim. The world does feel a bit repetitive at times and the price tag of the DLC is a bit high, but for fans of Valhalla, Dawn of Ragnarok is certainly worth it.- XGN

The King of Fighters XV is a great fighting game and SNK did a good job on bringing it up to par with the likes of the competition. However the game has a fantastic roster, great gameplay and is looking fantastic, there are still a few things missing. You can't really unlock things, there aren't as many modes as you would wish and the story just isn't that long. If those things were better, then the game which already kicks ass, would bring even the greatest of competitors on its knees.- XGN

Destiny 2 The Witch Queen lifts Destiny 2 to new heights with a spectacular story, a large amount of content and many improvements to gameplay. Destiny 2 is finally what it was always supposed to be and shows that Bungie is still at the top of its game when it comes to creating beautiful environments and visual storytelling. Whether you're thinking about returning to the franchise or picking up the game for the first time ever, The Witch Queen is a brilliant starting point for your new adventures.- XGN

Gran Turismo 7 offers a great variety of cars, tracks and locations in glorious detail. It takes quite a long time to unlock it all though. The campaign has been replaced by menus in the cafe, but still requires (too) many activities before the entire game is unlocked and everything is available. However, what IS available is of the highest standards.- XGN

If you like kartracers or Final Fantasy Chocobo GP is the game you want to try. This cute iteration brings a few good aspects from other kart racers, adds a story and famous Final Fantasy characters to it and takes all that to different locations throughout the franchise. The game feels like a complete kart racer, but it lacks variation in levels. If there were more levels and options to choose other karts, the game would feel even more complete. Still this is a fine race game to play with the kids.- XGN

FromSoftware has delivered a masterpiece with Elden Ring. The developer has put every lesson they've learned in the past into the game and perfected every gameplay-element. Add to that an enormous and diverse open world, the ability to travel and fight on horseback and the fact that Elden Ring is still challenging, while being more welcoming to new players. It's an epic adventure that not a single gamer should miss out on.- XGN

Empires combines deep strategy with fast action in the best musou style we know so well from Omega Force. The new way you're charging the castle and try to break or hold the defense is refreshing while the interconnectivity between strategy and action is well executed.- XGN

A decent new entry to the revamped GRID series, which keeps the middle between pure arcade and sim racing. Races are no-nonsense across diverse tracks. While not without technical issues, the races itself are generally enjoyable and graphically above adequate. Progress is regularly gated, which could have easily been dropped, as there is more than enough content available. An even larger range of tracks would have been great.- XGN
