Torment is back, not literally though. Tides of Numenera mostly lives up to the expectations, forged by a beautiful world and intriguing storytelling. A text-based masterpiece.- XGN

Berserk and the Band of the Hawk is a game which is absolutely charming to fans of the manga/series. For others it is a mediocre hack and slash game with simplified (but great) combat, but outdated graphics.- XGN

For Honor is an epic fighting game, but it comes with its flaws. While the combat is compelling and profound, the game does not always feel that responsive to your actions. The content in the game is diverse, but suffers from some connection issues.- XGN

Road to Boruto is a nice piece of content, although it is short. It offers a new bit of story, a few new characters and some outfits. Unfortunately, it is a bit short and a bit too expensive for what you get.- XGN

Halo Wars 2 is a decent sequel and one of the best RTS games on a console ever made. However, the story lacks any depth and the missions are easy and repetitive. Only buy Halo Wars 2 if you are an online player, otherwise you will be disappointed.- XGN

Guerilla Games has set the bar while it ventures into a new genre. The game looks phenomenal, and it offers variety, tens of hours of fun and an accessible system. It challenges you in every fight to play intelligently. This may be the best game of 2017.- XGN

The Division's Survival DLC offers a great new way to play the game, with a challenging mixture of old and new mechanics. Surviving the cold winter storm is some of the most thrilling content the game has to offer at this moment.- XGN

Werewolves Within is a fun and social VR-game in which you must find all the werewolves within your group of people. The core mechanics are simple, but the game stays enjoyable even after longer sessions. Only if the price would have been a bit lower.- XGN

Earthlock Festival of Magic tries to be a homage to the old school JRPGS. It succeeds in that with its instinctive fighting system, but fails desperately to keep it fresh. Earthlock is everything but magical.- XGN

The first season of Hitman has become a rather stuffed one, but in a good way. With all the content put together, you get a game that is filled with diverse locations, and plenty to do. With only some minor flaws, Hitman is a must-have within the genre.- XGN

Dragon Ball Fusions feels like a very good start to a nice spinoff. It looks great, offers fan service and of course a huge amount of fights. The game focuses on humour though. It gets repetitive after a while.- XGN

Although Sniper Elite 4 has its flaws, it is easily the best titles in the series yet. Rebellion has gone out of its way to deliver an even better sniper experience and did an extraordinary job doing so.- XGN

Digimon World Next Order is a nice game in general. It just feels like it should've come out a few years earlier. The graphics are okay, but not special and the game frustrates from time to time. A must for the fans, but not the game for everyone else.- XGN

Poochy and Yoshi's Woolly World is a great platformer. The cute style and entertaining gameplay make this game one of the best platformers for 3DS. It just doesn't live up to it's predecessor on Wii U.- XGN

Tales of Berseria is a surprise. The story and characters are dark, which is not expected of the series. The battle system got an upgrade, but the graphics have hardly improved. If you are looking for tens of hours of fun, this is the game.- XGN

Gravity Rush 2 offers an improvement upon the gameplay of the original game, but still suffers from some of the same problems the original had. While it is a visually stunning experience, the controls and camera tend to get in the way of all the fun.- XGN

Flame in the Flood is a sweet addition to the roguelike genre. It looks great and offers a good challenge. The menu however is a little annoying at times and if you die it can feel like you got cheated. Still this game is worth every penny.- XGN

Mother Russia Bleeds is a great game. It is brutal and takes you back to the days where beat 'em ups ruled the market. Still the game lacks a combo system and there are some annoyances. But in the co-op mode it makes up for all of that.- XGN

Stereo Aereo is a fun rhythm-based game, at least most of the time. The visual presentation is appealing, but often hinders you in keeping the focus on your own ship due to all the effects in place. Also the amount of content in the game is rather slim.- XGN

Moto Racer 4 is the return of a franchise. The game starts out nicely, but quickly loses its charm. The same tracks keep returning and the career mode is no career mode. And with the illogical elements in the game it's no more than a mediocre racer.- XGN
