The Sims 25th Birthday Bundle delivers a nostalgic experience with the original games, offering classic gameplay and charm. However, its technical limitations make it better suited for long-time fans rather than newcomers.- XGN

Obsidian has proven once again that they are the masters of role-playing games. Avowed has excellent combat, lively characters, a beautiful world and the storytelling is masterful. If they just fix a couple of bugs, they’ve got a masterpiece on their hands.- XGN

Whether it's fighting, exploring or binge-drinking, Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 improves on its predecessor in nearly every way. Some technical issues hold it back from perfection, but it's definitely worthwhile to step into the armor of Henry of Skalitz for this brilliant RPG.- XGN

Eternal Strands, the first release from the new studio Yellow Brick Games, features new ideas mixed with the best practices from other genres. Not everything works as planned, but the interaction between environments, weather and magical powers allow for creative gameplay.- XGN

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is still an amazing game that looks even better on PC. While there are some weird restrictions in the PC settings, it's the best way to play the second part in what is so far a great trilogy of remakes.- XGN

Donkey Kong Country Returns HD offers a fairly straightforward update of the original game: it is simply in HD. That means that all of its best platforming goodness is untouched, but it also means that some of the more frustrating aspects of the game remain as present as before. In that sense, the update is perhaps bare-bones.- XGN

Larger in scale but more intimate in story, Dynasty Warriors: Origins brings armies of thousands upon thousands of warriors to battle it out on screen. Battles feel more realistic than ever, while the focus on the early ages of the Three Kingdoms brings a much needed refreshing view of a well known story.- XGN

With ten chapters and an epilogue, the game is shorter than the anime it is based on, but that ensures that the game remains interesting until the end. Fairy Tail 2 is a must for fans of the series, but also accessible for those who want to get acquainted for the first time.- XGN

The bottom line is that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a great game that is held back by some technical issues. MachineGames manages to distinguish itself in the genre by relying more on stealth than action, even if the AI is not always that smart. We accept that, because when you are unraveling a mystery, nothing feels as good as that “A ha” moment. As a stealth game with action-packed emergency solutions, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is largely a triumph. Only the pace in the beginning could have been adjusted a bit, because that means the story can only really get going surprisingly late. But once you are in it, it is a rollercoaster ride that you can not get enough of.- XGN

So is Mario & Luigi: Brothership a must-have? Definitely. But only if you like turn-based battles and have the patience of a saint. If you want to get straight into the action, deep puzzles and that sort of thing, Mario & Luigi: Brothership is not for you. But us? Well, we recommend it. Teamwork makes the dream work!- XGN

What it ultimately comes down to with EA Sports FC 25 is that the game is more of the same from what we've had in recent years from the EA Sports quiver. The game is still plagued by age-old bugs and glitches, still has weird inconsistencies when it comes to gameplay and continues to have a complete imbalance between defending and attacking.- XGN

The most unnecessary remake of this generation. While the graphics have improved, the controls have not improved at all and feel sluggish. Skip this one and enjoy the much cheaper original version.- XGN

Overty ambitious, but marred by glitches and lack of polish, this game borrows many elements from famous games in history with some new ideas. The setting is great, but the scope seems too big for a debut title. Hopefully this isn't the last we've seen from this new universe.- XGN

Thankfully, the minigames are fun, the obligations are minimal, and the classic Mario Party feelings of frustration and euphoria quickly surface by the end of each game. And really, that's all you want from a good Mario Party. Super Mario Party Jamboree delivers that and a few extras with the Expert options - although they could have been a bit more extensive.- XGN

Undisputed is a boxing game that fans can really sink their teeth into. The possibilities are enormously extensive and the variation in opponents and tactics invites experimentation. Due to a lack of challengers, Undisputed is for now the uncrowned king in the ring, but it certainly wears that title with verve.- XGN

While the world and story of Echoes of Wisdom are a lot like what you're used to seeing when playing as Link, Zelda's distinct abilities make for a fairly different experience. Selecting an Echo is clunky at times, but each can be used creatively as a solution to a myriad of clever puzzles. Performance leaves something to be desired, but the princess' first outing as protagonist is a strong one.- XGN

Star Wars Outlaws is a delightful adventure with a charismatic new hero. The stealth gameplay is fun, but the missions do get repetitive after a while. Thankfully the game is a looker, with some beautiful planets to explore as a side-adventure.- XGN

While the story is still its strongest selling point, The game doesn't quite feel at home on the Switch five years after it's original release. With framedrops, technical limitations and game breaking bugs, this is the least polished version available.- XGN

Nobody Wants to Die is a short, but action-packed adventure, set in a dystopian version of New York. The excellent voice-cast and story succeed in immersing you in this futuristic murder mystery, albeit with a little more handholding than hoped. Still, for fans of the walking simulator genre, there is a lot to love here.- XGN

While it is not quite on the level of Luigi’s Mansion 3, Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD offers a fine visual update to a 3DS classic. Unfortunately, unlike other recent Nintendo remasters, this new version does nothing to alleviate the annoyances of the original game, such as E. Gadd’s all too frequent calls. Ultimately, Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD makes for an okay addition to the Switch-library, but it can’t be called essential.- XGN
