In terms of story and mythology this game is not that exciting. On the other hand, it feels great to overpower big trolls and fat bosses. Vikings Wolves of Midgard is a great game for everyone who wants something other than Diablo.- XGN

Stella Glow turns out to be a very pleasant surprise. The story and characters are written well and while the gameplay isn't very innovative, it's highly addictive. If you like story-based tactical JRPG's, we can recommend you pick up Stella Glow.- XGN

Evoland 2 is in all means the successor to Evoland. The game is isn't as straightforward, it takes a lot longer to beat and throws in multiple genres to mix it up. Everyone who loves retro games is gonna love Evoland 2.- XGN

Dawn of War 3 is a good RTS game in the Warhammer franchise. The races and units are well-balanced, as are the maps. Dawn of War 3 only has three races to play with, however, and the graphics are not that good.- XGN

Resident Evil 6 makes a great introduction for newcomers to try the RE games. That being said, besides some graphical improvements there isn't any new content being offered for players who've already played the game.- XGN

Yakuza Kiwami 2 is a beautiful remake of the second part. If you like the franchise with all its weird antics, you will love this game. It offers you the elements only Yakuza can give you, but there are a few downsides. Still, you must play this game.- XGN

If you love FIFA 18, you'll love FIFA 19. With some new gameplay features and game modes, the success formula has been broadened. But, with no changes to Pro Clubs and Career Mode the game can't offer you a far better experience than its predecessor.- XGN

Building in a futuristic setting was never as much fun as it is in Anno 2205. Build your own metropolis on both the Earth and the moon. The gameplay is easy to get into, so both newcomers and veterans of the franchise can instantly enjoy the game.- XGN

Arcana Heart 3 is a good fighting game when you don't look at the low-res graphics. The combat system is quite elaborate and with the big amount of different combinations in a fight, Arcana Heart 3 is a must-buy for every fan of the 2D fighting genre.- XGN

Jitsu Squad is a fantastic co-op game for 4 players. The beat 'em up plays smoothly and shows the love for the genre perfectly in it's style and the many references to others videogames. Still, it is not perfect as a whole. There is no drop in or drop out co-op and you don't get to change characters without starting all over. Still, when you love co-op games or just mashing enemies in a beat 'em up, this is a game more than worth trying.- XGN

Torchlight is a relatively cheap game that will keep you entertained for hours to come. Furthermore it's fun to fight against all the enemies and it manages to stay fun, thanks to different surroundings and enemies.- XGN

Formula 1 has had a big makeover this season, but that's not really the case for F1 22. The game gets a few nice extra's with F1 Life, such as racing with Supercars, but it isn't groundbreaking. Codemasters has built the game on a solid foundation however and the career modes are still excellent and expanded. The racing is also improved a bit, but not as much as in the real sport itself. F1 22 isn't the revolution that fans maybe expected, but it's a good evolution, especially if you like to game in VR.- XGN

Ubisoft has Prince of Persia returned with a completely new look and feel. The world of this metroidvania is huge and there is a lot to do. That also means a lot of running, climbing and fighting, but not a lot of depth unfortunately. Also there are a few missed opportunities. Still, this is a game you surely have to play this year.- XGN

There's so much to do in this game, it's easy to forget the world around you. Unfortunately, LEGO: Harry Potter: Years 5-7 lacks in originality compared to earlier LEGO titles, but the real LEGO fan shouldn't be bothered by this. Without a doubt, this is one of the best games in the LEGO series to date. Yes that's right, we were under its spell.- XGN

Hunt Showdown is a thrilling and original take on the battle royale genre. Hunt and be hunted for the best rewards whilst walking through the lands of 19th century Louisiana. Despite some minor technical flaws, the first-person shooter succeeds in delivering both exciting and terrifying co-op experience.- XGN

Shredder's Revenge is a game that makes a true hommage to its roots. Everything is recognisable from the Turtles movies to the previous games. It also is a very good brawler, but not the perfect puzzle unfortunately. The game is somewhat short and it tends to get chaotic if you play together. Still, if you like Turtles this is a must play.- XGN

Wolfenstein: The Old Blood is a great prequel to The New Order. It still has the points that makes The New Order great, but adds a few new things as well. Unfortunately, the addition of zombies is a bit of a downfall.- XGN
