Age of Mythology: Retold is not just a re-issue of an RTS classic, but an overhaul that brings the world of Mythology to modern times. Revamping old techniques and introducing new controls and automations, this game proves what was thought to be impossible: a rich RTS experience playable via controller.

The definitive version of the famous Android and iOS-game. A joy to play and definitely one of the best games on Wii U e-Shop. Save the ocean!

If you buy Darksiders II then you'll know for sure that you got a lot of content. You can spend hours on this title. It's a decent game, not better or worse than the earlier version. It's just a good game.

Crysis 3 looks absolutely stunning. Strip away the graphics however and you are left with a mediocre shooter with some fancy gimmicks. The stealth gameplay saves the day.

Hitman episode two is even better than the first one. Sapienza gives you more room and toys to play with, which results in a satisfying playing experience. There are a few hiccups here and there, but overall this is a strong second adventure.

This addictive tabletgame reminds us of Ridiculous Fishing when it comes to visuals, but playing Jellies is more like Bejeweled. Too bad the micro transactions are over the top expensive.

Life is Strange doesn't captivate you as quickly as the Telltale episodic games can, but it has a less linear and more unique atmosphere nonetheless. In about three hours you'll discover a fascinating story that makes you hungry for the coming episodes.

Mortal Kombat 11 Aftermath is the biggest update for the game yet. It adds three hours to the already epic storyline and next to that three great characters, Sheeva, Fujin, and RoboCop. Next to the new story and characters, the bloodshed can be varied in new levels with stage fatalities in a more peaceful matter with a friendship. The only real downside to the content is the price.

GameStudio offers an excellent platform for playfully learning the intricacies of creating your own games with an extensive tutorial and plenty of tools to transform your creative ideas into reality. While the lessons are mainly focused on children, they might get overwhelmed by the vast possibilities Gamestudio offers, but this platform is an excellent introduction to both the difficulties and possibilities of game development.

The transition of The Outer Worlds to the Switch is a decent one. All the content and dark humor are still there. The gameplay pretty well in handheld mode despite the Joy-Cons aren't particularly well equipped to handle a First Person Shooter. The game suffers from popups and load times, but nothing unbearable. Overall a decent package, especially for those who want to play on the go. If you plan to mostly play docked, you might want to check out one of the other platforms.

Those who already played Bravely Default on the 3DS back in the day won’t miss out on much by skipping this remaster, but for those who haven’t been on an adventure in Luxendarc yet, Bravely Default Flying Fairy HD Remaster is with its graphic, technical and quality of life improvements and lack of microtransactions the best version of the game. The minigames make clever use of the Joy-Cons’ mouse mode and besides the useful rewards they give, they’re also fun to play.

Nidhogg is the prove that you don’t need an advanced game engine to deliver a good game. The game is tactical duel between you and the opponent, but it delivers this is such a good way that it’s really enjoyable and fun to play.

The TakeOver gets its inspiration from the grandmaster Streets of Rage and does this well. The fighting is smooth and there are a lot of options to make combos. Next to that, the game has a few original features like guns that add to the variation. Despite the lack of an online co-op mode, this is a game you simply have to play. It is almost unbelievable all this came from the brain of one man!

The bottom line is that Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is a great game that is held back by some technical issues. MachineGames manages to distinguish itself in the genre by relying more on stealth than action, even if the AI is not always that smart. We accept that, because when you are unraveling a mystery, nothing feels as good as that “A ha” moment. As a stealth game with action-packed emergency solutions, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is largely a triumph. Only the pace in the beginning could have been adjusted a bit, because that means the story can only really get going surprisingly late. But once you are in it, it is a rollercoaster ride that you can not get enough of.

It is lovely, cutesy and a bit childish, but we do not care. Level-5 has got us hooked on Fantasy Life. We love the unexpected situations, the sweet life in Reveria and the combination of talking, fighting and playing mini-games is tons of fun.

EQQO is a fun puzzlegame that lets you enjoy a strong story about a boy and an egg. The game features more than 30 levels, but takes only four hours to complete. The puzzles are not difficult except a few of them. Because of this, the game never makes you think too long before proceeding through a level. Still EQQO is a game you should definitely try.

The Chant offers a mix of horror you don't see often in games. It combines survival-horror with elements that could come straight out of a H.P. Lovecraft book. Besides a few flaws the game looks great and the gameplay keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole way. The gameplay could use a bit more depth, especially the combat and the skill tree and sometimes you miss a bit of balance. Still, if you start this game, be ready for a ride that keeps the blood pressure going up and down.
