Thief is a decent game, however not as brilliant as expected. The game had some strange issues during the gameplay, although the atmosphere is still great. Nevertheless the game itself is not super, yet still decent enough with well thought out characters.- XGN

Borderlands 2's second DLC offers a solid eight hour of entertainment filled with testosterone and crazy characters. The expansion might be slightly rushed, but is a lot of fun nonetheless.- XGN

This is a good game that combines first-person shooter gameplay with RPG elements. It's a though game, but short. However it has a lot of replay value.- XGN

The PlayStation 3 version of Minecraft is as good as earlier releases on other platforms. Everything is included in the package and the game is still a lot of fun to play, in single-player mode or with your friends with splitscreen. A true builder has to pick this game up.- XGN

A re-release for Switch 2 that is full of puzzling content, but adds little to the original game. If you've never played a Puy Puyo Tetris, this is an excellent game that will keep you entertained for many hours. If you already own the original, this Switch 2 release adds too little to warrant double dipping.- XGN

A fast, complex futuristic arcade racer that doesn't shy away from doing things differently. This one is not for everyone, but those that can master the controls and keep their cool will have a blast.- XGN

inFamous: Festival of Blood is way too short. That truly is a shame because you don't want it to stop. It's fun, it's cool and there are no sparkling vampires. What more do you want?- XGN

Rise of the Tomb Kings adds another worthwhile experience to the Total War Warhammer series. The gameplay of the DLC is well balanced in terms of features and units, although the add-on works better during Mortal Empires than the Great Vortex campaign.- XGN

The Sims 3: Showtime manages to make The Sims even completer then it already is. It perfectly responds to what the target audience wants and completes the social aspect of the game totally. This is one of those expansions that you simply cannot miss.- XGN

XCOM: Enemy Unknown is a great game for the iPad. Despite some restrictions, Enemy Unknown is a great addition for the iPad. It has the same level of tactical movements as its brothers for the consoles.- XGN

Out of the Park Baseball 16 is once again a fine baseball sim, although it misses the ball on several points. The learning curve for new players is huge and a good tutorial is absent, ratings of players don't seem to matter too much.- XGN

Quantum Conundrum is a great puzzle game. The different dimensions give the game a unique feel and the cartoony style is nicely chosen. The controls are a bit sensitive, but it's not too bad. If you like solving puzzles, you are going to like Quantum Conundrum.- XGN

The Hidden Ones DLC continues where it left off and it's mostly more of the same, which is excellent if you loved Assassin's Creed Origins. We would have liked to see more variety and more beauty in the region, but it's still a must play for the fans.- XGN

The Giana Sisters are back with an Directowl's Cut of their Twisted Dreams adventure. The game is good for more than 20 hours of entertainment. The game plays fluidly and the worlds are original, but there are some small flaws. Still, the game rocks.- XGN

Borderlands 4 is for the most part a big step forward. The gameplay feels better than ever, the Vault Hunters have much more personality and you get tons of movement upgrades. The world however is not as diverse as previous games, the structure of the story makes it feels a lot smaller and Gearbox hasn't yet mastered the technical side of the game. Hopefully the technical problems can be fixed before launch.- XGN

The tone has been set for the first season of Hitman. De gameplay feels familiar plays better than any other Hitman game. The concept of releasing the game in episodes is new, and we'll have to see how things work out but episode one is definitely a good start. Some could say the amount of content is a bit scarce, with only one fundamental level, but that doesn't take away the fact that there's plenty to do in Hitman.- XGN

Playing with gravity is fun, especially when it's so clean and simple like in the super retro game VVVVVV. The graphics make it feel like an old game from the late 1980's, but at the same time it's so refreshing and fun that it fits perfectly in the year 2012. Respawning is fast and there are many checkpoints, so this game does hardly get very frustrating. We do miss the option to make and share levels though.- XGN

Kirby's Return to Dream Land Deluxe is a joy to play, particularly in co-op, as two players can spot more secrets than one. However: co-op is also the game's greatest weakness as everything revolves around player one: it's a dated approach to co-op compared to newer games that treat all players as equal participants. Thankfully, improved graphics and great additional content make this new version of Return to Dream Land truly "Deluxe".- XGN

Mad Max just breathes the atmosphere from the movies, though it has only a little to do with them. On the other hand the game offers nothing new and doesn't shine specifically. Still, it is a lot of fun to wreak havok across the immense desert.- XGN
