Dragon Age: Inquisition is BioWare's new masterpiece and they weren't bluffing. The RPG has everything a fan of the genre could wish for: an amazing amount of gameplay, a great story and extreme beauty. A must-have for everyone that calls himself a gamer.

Time will tell whether or not Hearthstone will keep appealing to new players. With Whispers of the Old Gods the game feels new and fresh once again that two years after the release of the vanilla game still makes it worth playing.

Nintendo knows how to remarket a game for a new release. Just add a whole pile of content and a brand new story to it. And it works. The game feels like a complete new version, with hours of extra fun to it and a lot of minigames for two or more players.

While the world and story of Echoes of Wisdom are a lot like what you're used to seeing when playing as Link, Zelda's distinct abilities make for a fairly different experience. Selecting an Echo is clunky at times, but each can be used creatively as a solution to a myriad of clever puzzles. Performance leaves something to be desired, but the princess' first outing as protagonist is a strong one.

Collection 1 has become a complete package, but it lacks originality. It steals components from previous Call of Duty games and that's a great shame. We expected more from this one.

In comparison with the current-gen of consoles, Battlefield 4 is the shooter for the next-gen consoles. The graphics are even more stunning than before and there’s an ability to play with more gamers on the console. Choose the PlayStation 4 or Xbox One-version above the current-gen versions.

Obsidian Entertainment has learned from its previous titles and used those lessons in The Outer Worlds. It makes the best RPG from the studio to date, with a story full of choices and consequences, weird planets and inhabitants and a plethora of play-styles. It's a shame the combat feels clunky from time to time and there are fewer planets to visit than expected, but that shouldn't spoil the fun that The Outer Worlds has to offer.

Anyone who’s waited to experience Kiryu’s story from the very beginning will find Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut to be the best version yet. The story remains top-notch, now more expansive than ever and even better presented thanks to new voice acting. Add a fun multiplayer raid mode on top, and there’s little to criticize in this complete package.

A must have for every role-playing game lover. However it must be said that the version for PS3, Xbox and PC is better than the Wii U version if it comes to gameplay and graphics. The GamePad is not that innovative in this case.

Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age on Switch delivers a comprehensive and thrilling journey, though with some flaws. While the game itself offers hours of RPG fun, it's older age shows. The steep price tag is also something to keep in mind.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor sports an excellent return for Cal Kestis and his adventures to escape the grasp of the Empire. Thanks to a ton of new additions in both gameplay and customization, you've never felt closer to being a Jedi than in this game even though the performance could've been better.

Starfield is a Bethesda RPG in every sense of the word. It offers a large, rich and intriguing world, filled with sidequests and a mysterious main story. The possibility to enter your spaceship and explore the galaxy and fight space pirates is really fun. It has however a few strange bugs, the graphics can change a lot and firefights miss something extra. We’re certain though that RPG fans can easily spend hundreds of hours in Starfield.

NBA 2K14 has the ‘wow’ factor. With dribbling and scoring three pointers, NBA promises and delivers. Still, 2K promised us a complete new game on the next-gen consoles, but it can’t keep its promise, because the next-gen version is literally the same on the current-gen.

Do you want to be a rebel? You can in Red Faction: Guerrilla! Destroying buildings on it's own is actually really satisfying, but it turns out the gameplay is quite good as well. You can spend many hours to the online modes. Run or hammer yourself a way to the shop, because Red Faction: Guerrilla is just a lovely game!

Amnesia: The Dark Descent is the scariest game in years. You'll get an extremely creepy vibe from the castle and all of the mysterious things that are happening there. The voice overs and the ending of the game aren't great, but this shouldn't bother anyone seeing how you'll be extremely scared when you play this on your own in a dark room.
