Even though it looks infinitely better on the PC, Ryse: Son of Rome still remains a dull tech demo that's repetitive and offers very little gameplay-wise. It's very pretty to look at, but extremely boring to play.

These two classics in their genre haven't aged that well. While Praetorians seems to fit better to the consoles, Commandos has been poorly adapted to the usage of a controller. Both games show their age, and especially in the case of Commandos, better versions are available.

It is too bad that How to Survive fails in so many respects. With an always-ready inventory on your GamePad, the Wii U version of How to Survive is actually better than the other versions of the game.

The world that Walt Disney shaped really comes to life in this cutesy 3DS-game. Though there is lots of content to play through, the framerate is bad and there is not enough challenge to make this game really worth while.

Rogue Trooper Redux doesn't fit the Switch. The gameplay is dated and boring. It's not very playable in handheld mode.

The Narco Road DLC barely has anything to do with the main storyline of Ghost Recon: Wildlands. It feels like Ubisoft was obligated to make this DLC because they decided to have a season pass. This is not what the fan of Ghost Recon Wildlands was expecting.

Because of the bad gameplay and graphics is How To Train Your Dragon not a special game. It's a better idea to spend your money on a ticket to see the movie version in a cinema.

Charon's Staircase could have been a very good horrorgame, but it misses too many of the elements to be so. The graphics (on the Switch) are dissapointingly bad and the controls feel clunky. Also, the horror elements in the game barely scare you like they should, although the tension is built up in a strong way. The exploration and the puzzles feel unbalanced. It's better to wait for a sale here.

The gorgeous design of this game cannot hide the fact that this actually is a very limited shooter that gets boring very easily. Too bad, because it is a game that is very easy to learn.

This XIII Remake was supposed to allow fans of the original to relive their memories in a way that was suited to modern hardware and gameplay norms. Sadly, this game failed to deliver due to a questionable choice of art-direction, last gen controls and many, many flaws and bugs that hamper the game.

The first party game on the Wii U is a fact but to be honest, it's a failure. The tracklist isn't strong enough to play this game for a long time. Also, there are better karaoke games out there, think about SingStar and Lips.

Lethal RPG: War is an RPG which doesn't add anything new to the genre. Despite doing what it's supposed to do and even offering challenging battles, it never feels original or inspired.

Puzzle Kingdoms is a nice puzzle game for the fanatics. Still, the game doesn't offer much variation which is needed. And therefore this game will disappear pretty soon in the closet.

The world of Garfield’s Wild Ride is beautiful animated, but with a no trial and error principle it’s a difficult game, especially for children. You need to gain a lot of money to buy something, which also makes it quite hectic sometimes.

Spare Parts has all the right ingredients to be a great puzzle adventure game but never doesn't stand out above the competition in any way. Simon Pegg tries very hard to keep the game interesting with his witty remarks but it's just too little too late.

Even though the concept of this game is pretty original, Freefall Racers is not a game you will play for very long. It is very hard to get a power-up and nearly impossible to use one. These flying squirrels do not look very good, so you really do not feel the need to unlock all of them. And then what's left?

Confrontation manages to score some points in a few areas, for example the concept. Also, the combat can get pretty difficult at times and encourages a tactical mind, which is a plus. Thank the heavens for the included pause button. Unfortunately, most of the ideas are very poorly executed and the gameplay is incredibly linear. For a 39.99 euro game, we would have expected more. A lot more.

Gear Club Unlimited 2 is a game that tries to be a simulator and an arcade racer in one. It offers a lot of cars and tracks, but has a very slow start and a faulty set of controls. Next to that the games loading times are far too long. It just frustrates.

Fossil Fighters Frontier is a disappointing dinosaur RPG. The story and characters are cliché, there is no sense of adventure and the gameplay is tedious and monotonous. But at least the dinosaurs look cool.

The console version of Need for Speed the Run is nice. That's not the case for the 3DS version. There is not enough to explore and there is almost nobody online. You can complete the game within a few hours and then it's done. Furthermore the quick time events are really annoying while you're playing.

In Seven Deadly Sins Knights of Britannia you will be fighting more with the combat system than against your opponents. It just doesn't work and that’s a pity, because Seven Deadly Sins stays close to its source material.

Choplifter HD would be an excellent game in the arcades, mostly because each level only takes a few minutes to complete. Unfortunately, this short length leads to the fact that it's unpleasant to play in the living room. The requirement of multitasking in the heat of battle in the later levels, makes up for this a little bit. We would rather plug in our old NES again.

Namco Museum is a collection of arcade games from Bandai Namco's past. Even though some of the games are timeless, they don't seem to capture that same kind of magic like they would in an arcade hall. Because of that, Namco Museum falls short.
