    Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection is with its low retail price a must have for new and experienced players. Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater are some of the best entries in the franchise. It's only a shame Peace Walker is absent in this collection.

    Krater could have been a wonderful game but messes up in the gameplay department. The gameplay tends to get repetitive and the story isn't that great. Krater has turned out to be a pretty weak start of a franchise.

    This Madagascar game is, just as it's predecessors, very adorable. The minigame kind of gameplay is connected through the story of the movie and there's enough variation to keep it interesting. It does get a bit repetitive after one town, and walking goes very slowly, but this game is perfect to play with a child.

    Iron Front really has a realistic atmosphere, there's a lot of different modes to choose from and the German/Russian voices are done well. The game is not really playable though, because it crashes a lot. Cutscenes cannot be skipped and there are some important explanations missing.

    Gods & Kings is a very complete expansion pack. The added espionage and the new and improved religion system make this game a lot better. Civilization V has become a lot deeper with this DLC and almost all of the original problems have been fixed.

    With Lollipop Chainsaw, Suda 51 has once again found a great mix between fun, varied gameplay and tons of humor. The action might not really stand out and the game has its issues, but it's a great, fun ride.

    Harley Quinn's Revenge offers more of the same and that is what we wanted after the original single-player story was over. On the other hand, there is nothing that will keep you coming back after you finish the short story. Harley Quinn's Revenge is a good reason to boot up Arkham City once more, but keep your expectations on the low.

    Dead Hungry Diner is a pretty good indie game, despite the very simple main concept. In fifty levels you won't get bored one single time. With just an endless amount of minor additions that you get while playing through te game, Dead Hungry Diner strikes the right chord.

    The balance in Gratuitous Tank Battles is spot on and the A.I. is very good. It's possible to create your own maps, which is always a good thing. It's just a shame that there isn't a multiplayer mode to test your skills against others.

    Operation Raccon City has a pretty good multiplayer and some smooth controls. That is unfortunately where the goodness ends. The singleplayer is weak and the A.I. is just as stupid as the zombies.

    PixelJunk 4AM should be seen as an instrument instead of a game. Unfortunately the Move-controller does not have too many options and that's why this is an instrument that will not be fun for too long. It's too bad you need other people to give you kudos and gamers will probably miss the traditional game elements, which seems to be making PixelJunk 4AM simply not interesting enough.

    Hitman: Sniper Challenge is a great appetizer for Absolution. In the beginning you may be a bit lost but after a few games you shoot people down like it's your job. You'll become a real hitman and that is perhaps the best thing a game like Sniper Challenge can do. If this quality remains in Absolution, expect great things.

    This classic Sonic game gets very hard when played on your own, but as soon as a friend joins and plays as Tails, everything gets a bit too easy. This games misses gimmicky new features and the levels do not differ much, apart from the theme ofcourse. It's fun to run around with the super speedy Sonic, but unfortunately this game lacks innovation.

    Is TERA worth your time? It depends. Can you handle an endless barrage of generic quests? If the answer is 'yes', you'll find yourself emmerged in a fantastic world. Even though TERA follows a path that is well known in the MMO-handbook, it manages to lift the genre to a higher level in some ways. One of of those ways is the nearly perfect combat system, Also, fans of PvP elements will find a heavenly experience in this absolute pearl of an MMO.

    Sorcery offers a very cool way of using the PlayStation Move and brings a funny story suitable for any age. That is why it is a shame that he rest of the game offers very little content.     Playing with gravity is fun, especially when it's so clean and simple like in the super retro game VVVVVV. The graphics make it feel like an old game from the late 1980's, but at the same time it's so refreshing and fun that it fits perfectly in the year 2012. Respawning is fast and there are many checkpoints, so this game does hardly get very frustrating. We do miss the option to make and share levels though.

    Max Payne 3 is not as revolutionary as the original, still this third-person shooter is one of the best games of 2012 so far. With it's phenomenal animations, suberb shoot-outs and it's breathtaking singleplayer it's a must have for shooterfans. Apart from a couple asperities as annoying checkpoints and a lack of variety, there is little to complain about Max Payne 3.

    Datura is a game, but most of all an experience. Like a boy scout you walk around in a very peaceful forest which is relaxing. But as you walk along you'll discover that this forest might not be as peaceful as you thought. It does depend on your choices how the game will end, but unfortunately Datura is not very clear about that, so it seems to be a very short game, while there actually are more than ten endings to it.

    Bloodforge is too hard and too frustrating to enjoy. It's impossible to change the difficulty of the game, there aren't enough places to heal and the gameplay keeps repeating itself. The graphics are great, but the camera is not. Another great part of the frustration is the boring music, that starts when there are enemies on screen and ends when they have been eliminated.

Thank the heavens for the included pause button. Unfortunately, most of the ideas are very poorly executed and the gameplay is incredibly linear. For a 39.99 euro game, we would have expected more.     The several power-ups and the five unique classes in World Tour make up for the somewhat repetitive gameplay. But we want dynamic gameplay and awesome features that will keep our adrenaline high. Also, the lack of split-screen is an absolute dealbreaker because Wheels of Destruction could be a great game if a local co-op feature was included. That is not the case however. A cool concept, but a poor execution. Disappointing.

    If you get excited by the thought of an airplane, there's enough content in Birds of Steel to keep you satisfied for a while. If you're more like the rest of us and just want to have some fun in the air, you'll be disappointed. The simplified mode is too easy and gets boring after a while. The realistic and simulator modes are too hard and unless you've got some experience in the virtual airspace, you'll give up before the second mission. It's too bad there is no mode that mixes the accessibility of the first mode but with the challenge of the other modes.

    Bumbledore is a small indie game that looks a lot like Angry Birds, so you know what to expect when you decide to buy this game. In Bumbledore, you play a little bee that needs to protect his hive from invading wasps and insects. The concept is far from original but can be great for short sessions. Now, if you will excuse us, we have a huge load of honey to keep safe.

    Cubemen is a simplistic tower defense game with a unique style that is best to be enjoyed offline. There are a lot of different game modes to enjoy and the AI is pretty good. Things tend to get a bit too simplistic however as all of the levels basically look the same and you can't upgrade any of your units. The multiplay can get frustrating as well, as people just tend to spam the cheapest units available.

    Fortunately, Wargame dares to take chances and succesfully follows a different path than other games in the genre. The way you control the battlefield over several levels, like R.U.S.E. did, gives a whole new dimension to real-time gaming. Be aware of the chaotic battles that will commence on your screen, as some people's head may eventually explode. Just a friendly warning.

    Top Darts on the PS Vita is much better than on the PlayStation 3. Thanks to a number of new mini games and the intuitive control of the touchscreen, playing darts on a handheld has never been this fun.
