If you want to compare GUN to GTA, it's fair to say that it doesn't reach the level of enjoyment found in the GTA games mainly because the missions push you forward a little too much and you don't get the chance to explore as much as you might want to do.

The main positives going for Destroy All Humans are its enjoyable action sequences, but these are alienated by, what are in nature, dismal fetch and find missions that lack the originality that the game was trying to deliver in the first place.

The story is great, the mystery is intense, and the protagonists are extremely likable. As a result, we found ourselves liking the game a lot in spite of its occasional shortcomings... all the more noticeable as they are because they interrupt what is otherwise a brilliant game.

The animation is fantastic, but there’s not enough of it. The storyline is serviceable, but doesn’t really offer anything new.

Flat textures are still flat textures, however they are dolled-up -but at least Ubisoft have attempted to make the whole experience an immersion in a politically-charged, adult-oriented, comic book world.

Perhaps the next time around, we will be surprised when we go in expecting to control a killing machine and instead find a deep (and/or deeply disturbed) man in our hands. Perhaps not. Hopefully, it will just be a little more memorable than this.

Despite the slightly lack-lustre graphics, TrackMania: Power Up! is a great game to play with friends or foes -and you won't find many titles that give you this much value for money.

The omission of Live play is unfortunate, as being able to duel your friends, or take on co-operative missions would have added an extra depth to the overall experience and added to the replayability of the game.

It is intended for those of us who found humor in this summer's comedy film, "Dodgeball": if you like crass-but-sarcastic-and-witty humor, you can't go wrong.

The fighting part of the game itself is good and quite fun to do, as it’s not to difficult to learn how to play, but will take a while before you’re up and fighting with the area rankers.

However, the sheer agony induced (both physically and mentally) by the lazy implementation of the controls made me scream time and time again.

Plagued by long load times, non-descript graphics and frustrating level design, and is hampered further by the fact that checkpoints can be few and far between.

It is truly epic so don't expect to play this for a couple of hours and be finished, and on this basis alone I'm not going to speak for everyone, but when offered the choice by Morpheus, I'll be taking the Red Pill and see how far the rabbit hole really goes!

As a whole, Call of Duty: Finest Hour feels like it was poorly assembled with shoddy A.I. and lacklustre graphics. Couple that with short, uninteresting missions and main characters that you couldn't care less about, and you have a game that may be worth a day's play but is a title that you wouldn't want to in your own library.

For all its faults, Sega GT Online is a good arcade racer -whilst the likes of TOCA and Project Gotham go for simulation, Sega GT gives you an old-fashioned (and some would say out-dated) arcade feel.

The character designs are very imaginative, while the sets and graphic ideas are great. Raze truly is a cool looking character, and the Kewletts are too cute to leave alive.

Overall, the deep, strategic elements of DRvsAK -combined with historical timelines detailing the context of the missions that you're undertaking- give a real sense of place and scope and we can’t help but recommend this title whole-heartedly.

Indeed, Return From Darkness is what Wrath of Heaven should have been when it was first released.

Our final issue with the game is that, there is no variety in what you are doing each level changes your location, immersing you into another lush environment, but the aim is always the same; whatever Helghan party you come across – kill them and move on.

Ty 2's uncomplicated game play, straightforward story, and friendly quality create a fun experience for younger gamers and could provide a couple of hours distraction for older players.

There is an element of comedy in Scaler and it is very welcome -it does lack the wittiness of, say, Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, but it does make the game that much more enjoyable.

A challenging title that doesn't treat gamers like complete idiots and, with the team play oriented multiplayer aspects of the game, it's well worth considering this title to help while away those wet April afternoons.

Blinx 2: Masters of Time and Space had the makings of a good game, but poor storyline, painful acting, and lobotomy-level difficulty turned it into a sub-par platformer.

Driving tasks are fun but the on-foot missions are much more entertaining. If you can stomach the glitchy camera, lock and load for a truly epic and cinematic gaming experience.

A flawed attempt at mimicking the movie. The presentation is spot on and the characterization is fantastic.

The essence of a good FPS is there it just doesn’t have that old Unreal or Half-life polish. Don’t get us wrong, it has its enjoyable moments, but it’s more than a little lacking in polish.

The biggest problem with Musashi Samurai Legend is the same problem that’s plagued a lot of Square-Enix’s recent titles: it just isn’t nearly as fun as it feels like it should be.

If instead you only have a passing interest in all things water-based, it may be better to visit the rental store for a quick blast before parting with your twenty notes – definitely try it online though.

Low-level players have very little guidance if they can’t form relationships with other people or clans. They will be lost and confused.

Overall I rate this game pretty highly both on its visuals and its refreshing game play. Definitely worth a look as this game could keep you stapled to your sofa for days.

This hard work, however, is denigrated by the repetition of character models throughout the entire game.

A solid -yet flawed- 'Nam game and clearly a lot of time has been spent researching and analysing the period -but at the expense of graphics and AI.

D-Day will make you curse yourself for every lost vehicle, unit and infantry man and your dreams will be plagued by visions of allied soldiers dying, one after the other, on a far-away beach in a foreign land.

The meat (ahem) of the game is quite fun. It's the fist fights, the repetition, and camera problems that plague it enough to keep it from being more then average.

Vicious Cycle did an excellent job in recreating the comic in a video game, too bad there's only one safe house to spawn from.

Although the gameplay is confusing and disorientating, the game as a whole is a nice package. It has great presenation with a simple, straightfoward interface, and the overall atmosphere gives off a nice world domination feeling.

To say that Get On Da Mic is a letdown is a huge understatement. It instead feels like a game that never made it past the first stage of testing.

Choro Q is delicious sugar coated fun for the child deep down, or not so deep down, in everyone. Just don’t attempt to drive a real car any time after playing it, the urge to speed past other cars is almost to strong to ignore.

If you're looking for a playable version of the classic 1967 episode, “Mirror Mirror”, then Shattered Universe is the game for you. However, if you’re merely looking for a good time with the Star Trek Franchise then you would probably be better served to rent Star Trek IV on DVD.
