In a climate of next-gen gaming, Rogue Trooper comes across as an anachronistic ode to the Xbox third person shooter. Not exactly rough around the edges but then not entirely polished either, it's a game best suited for either rabid fans of the comic upon which it is based or those who simply must experience every game out there that lets you play with big guns.

The game is as intense as it is addictive.

It's a generic, cheap cash-in that is poorly executed, uninspired, and rarely even enjoyable.

The presentation is absolutely first rate and even though some of the control options I loved from past games are gone, the controls are finely tuned and it's possible to score some awesome goals.

If you can ignore the sloppy motorbike sequences and often unsatisfying combat, you'll have no trouble fitting into Lara's skimpy outfits and immersing yourself in the most enjoyable action-adventure on the Xbox 360 to date.

Despite taking the safe road Tomb Raider Legend is still a really good game and a solid return to form. The only bad thing is that it is extremely short. Lovers of long, intricate puzzle games may be left wanting here.

The Instincts portion is a great game, looks absolutely stunning, and is fun and exciting, if a little easy and short.

Dynasty Warriors 5: Empires has been around the block a couple of million times by now, and its safe to say that the tricks being turned here are unlikely to surprise or please anyone besides the most hardcore fans.

A better game than the original and is full of potential for further releases in the franchise.

Really, your enjoyment of Evolution will hinge on whether you enjoyed the original game. If so, then this expansion represents another 6 or so hours of shooting fun.

Despite its hefty premium pricetag, it plays and feels like a second-string budget title, albeit with a coat of shiny graphical gloss.

It's a great game for fans of the films as it represents a high-quality and faithful replication of some defining film moments, as well as for gamers with a craving for violence, extortion and gangster shenanigans.

It just doesn't have that unique style or irreverent humour of GTA. It's a driving game, first and foremost, which has stepped somewhat tentatively into a much larger gaming pool.

There are a lot of great ideas contained in the game, but overall the game falls flat and leaves you feeling greatly unsatisfied.

If you know what you're in for then G.R.A.W. will definitely scratch your tactical shooter itch. However, if you get annoyed with fiddly controls and are not very patient when it comes to progressing through games, G.R.A.W. won't be for you.

Perhaps this is part of a sinister marketing ploy by Microsoft to encourage Xbox owners to upgrade to the Xbox 360 by ensuring that Xbox ports suck compared to their hotted up counterparts?

But with the gameplay improvements, enhanced Xbox Live, ear-blowing audio and jaw-dropping visuals, it's still a pretty attractive prospect.

Soccer is a game about tactics, skill and precision, and this game shirks all of that for a quick bang, and it doesn't really work.

A game to convert even the unworthy to boxing, Fight Night Round 3 will have you quite literally thumbing your way to heaven.

Everything is photo realistic and EA have really delivered the goods here, when you see it in motion it looks amazing.

It's fun to play through though and the Career mode is quite long and challenging but a few more game modes such as a couple of arena style levels and a few extra weapons to mix things up a bit definitely would not have hurt.

It really is a beautiful game, truly 'next gen' in appearance if not gameplay.

TTT wraps up the series in a sincere and compelling way that is genuinely rare in the gaming world.

There simply is no other game that comes as close to not only recreating a film, but also making you feel like you're in control of the action rather than just a part of it.

The game looks brilliant using a revved-up Doom 3 engine, although its coding creates some inconsistent framerate mayhem.

The environments look gorgeous (both single player campaign and multiplayer) and those yet to experience the game or Xbox 360 for that matter should enjoy this title as a solid first encounter.

An exceptional game no matter which way you cut it: intense singleplayer with stunning graphics and audio, and a rock solid multiplayer component.

Condemned: Criminal Origins is one of the finest horror games to date, managing to mix the traditional scares with action-packed, enjoyable combat. The atmosphere is palpable, the audio downright chilling, and the storyline is compelling and well executed.
