Controls are responsive and players did what they were told to do without a hitch. Lack of fighting direction hurts this score.

It's a broken game that aimed high and hit low.

Battle March has great unit diversity and possesses a fun, strategic battle system where the life and death of each unit really matters in a way few RTS games can match. Unfortunately, this fun is buried under long load times, tiny text, dated graphics, and such a poor control scheme that this game is hard to recommend.

A great gardening/breeding game that improves upon the original in many ways, but maybe not enough to justify you paying full price.

If I had to sum Mercenaries up in one word, I would say “fun.” If I had to sum it up in five, I would say “fun but glitchy as hell!”

The graphics are a little under what I'd hoped and the story isn't as fresh as I'd have liked, but the battle system and the overall execution are excellent.

The game has taken Tiburon’s first outing, shaken it by the horns and ironed out any flaws that last year’s game had, replacing them with some great new features.

The RPG nature of the back end system is a true pleasure at times. Kitting Baldur out from head to toe in badass armour is one of Too Human’s fortes. Other than the main story quest though there isn’t really that much to do and the game gets incredibly repetitive.

If you are looking for a football game to play with friends for the next year, you can’t go wrong with this one. Although the changes and new additions may not be game changing, they do enough to keep Madden 10 fresh and playing with a buddy in co-op is always fun.

Unique fighting styles, weapons and characters coupled with very fluid and technical gameplay is really the formula for success in an ideal fighting game. Soulcalibur IV hits all those right on the head.

Fun, simple and addictive, this game is a worth-while addition to the 360 roster, but is a little light. Hardcore Civ fans may want to stick to the PC versions, but newcomers will feel right at home.

It looks great and plays great and that is more than enough for me.

There are few songs with no improvements over from the last game, and it even plays exactly the same.

While the game has a bit of charm, that is mostly my affection for the title character coming through and not the actual game itself. The gameplay is dull and repetitive, the graphics and audio mediocre at best and the achievements are a complete drag.

This game offers a few fun moments but is just too short to justify much more than a rental.

Difficult and overly complicated control system.

Bad Company boasts a competent and fairly entertaining single player mode but their multiplayer mode is most definitely their fundamental selling point. One of the best multiplayer modes and battle systems on the Xbox 360 as far as I’m concerned.

This game will frustrate a lot of people before they've even made it through the tutorials and the season mode is fairly light too. Worth a play but only if you have the patience to practice, practice and practice some more.

Burst Limit was a poor start for DBZ’s future with the 360, but it could have been worse. The art stays true to the series as do the cutscenes.

The game has major issues. The graphics aren't that great and the realism is non-existent, the voice acting is plain awful and boring and the freezing/frame-rate issues are inexcusable.

It was a frustrating ride with difficulty levels, luck and that damned camera not helping matters, but I would encourage everyone to experience the game, if only for a while. It does have its “just one more stage” periods and that is always the sign of something great.

This is the premium driving title out on the 360 at the moment, and a must own for any fans of the racing genre. When buying a car in real life, it isn't about the miles per gallon, but about the smiles per mile. This game will definitely make you smile.

Except maybe Viva Pinata, this is the most enjoyable family game I've played thus far. I can't in good conscience give it a score to rival any of the fabulous shooters or RPGs on the console, but it is far removed from the dredges with Golden Compass or Jumper.

Surprisingly, controls are quite intuitive and easy to use, and the navigation menus are pretty straight forward.

Without doubt, UEFA Euro 2008 is the pinnacle of Football games.

It can be fun for a bit, but considering you'll be done in two or three hours, I'd save your money and put this one on your Gamefly or spend a weekend with a free rental from the store.

It truly smashed the hype and shocked the critics. GTA IV is a game that MUST be experienced even if you haven't liked the game in the past... And what's better is that there is more to come.

As far as street or arcade-style basketball games go, this is a far cry from what you'd expect. Taking too many strides towards "legitimate" basketball loses all of the charm, and frankly the fun-factor, that we've come to expect from this genre.

The similarities to Gears hurt its originality, but the glaive is simply awesome.

An impressive game that provides one of the greatest gaming experiences I’ve had in a while, producing some of the goriest bloodbaths featured in a game to date.

It isn't trying to be competition to the tennis sims, it's providing an alternative option that is simple, easy and fun.

With the adaptive AI the terrorist hunts ensure an ongoing challenge that is never the same twice.

The entire presentation is much more professional looking this time around. It's still one of the premier gaming series for chills and thrills.

A good co-op experience that is just a bit too short to satisfy, plus missing a few features that would have made the game stand out. I’m becoming a broken record but, again, the online needs a bit of an overhaul.

Great single player campaign that’ll last you quite a while if you’re going for 100% completion, although multiplayer is a bit of a let down.

I truly believe that, had they given the development at least another few months to beef up the visuals and sounds and maybe even add a bit to the campaign itself, this could have been a great game, possibly making a few top 10 lists along the way.

I can’t deny that it captures the look of the show but it certainly doesn’t inspire me to go out and watch it.

A poor offline game tagged onto a very good online game.

If you’re looking for a third person shooter with intense, heart-pounding gameplay, The Club is the perfect game for you. On the other hand, if you like to stroll around, taking in environments and having a relaxing time, avoid The Club at all costs.

The game feels rushed, with an obvious lack of love and passion.

Nothing at all in this game stands out from any other First-Person Shooter currently available, from the menus, to the gameplay, and of course the graphics. Everything feels a bit half hearted, and possibly the games famous franchise was relied on to push high sale figures instead of actual quality gameplay itself.

Awful camera angles completely ruin the interesting battle system, almost non-existent and overall poor sound effects make it better played on mute and the graphics simply confuse me as to what decade it is.

The story is simply awesome and very detailed. The world is actually quite small compared to some RPGs, mostly because you can't explore the world map that much. For most of the game, you simply select a town and go.

Neatly presented to the gamer, with aesthetically pleasing menus and a generally tidy, easily accessible interface throughout. Over-sensitive controls are a major letdown.

For the type of game it is, it really does well. Very unique, very fun, very addicting. It most definitely is not for everyone, but fans will be ravenous and doubters will be many. That right there is my type of game.

Devil May Cry is simple to jump in to and hack for hours or simple to jump on to for quick slash. All in all, its simple setup and pick up and play action is great, but making a game by reusing the levels for the second half of the game is almost unforgivable!

Sticks close to the source material though whether that is of any benefit is up for question, the story is nothing you haven’t seen before and the fetch and carry game-play is the lowest common denominator for movie games it would seem.

A solid title from a company with years of experience making karaoke games, with a very real possibility of a steady revenue stream for Konami if they handle the DLC well.

The story is vapid and devoid of any substance and what little there is is not explained well or fleshed out.

A terrible depiction of the book, but not much of a surprise to anyone that saw the film. It does a very bad job of turning a story that isn’t suited to it into a game, as everything about it feels tacked on and not in keeping with the story in the slightest.

Picking up Rock Band and starting out is such an easy and enjoyable experience. You will feel like you are actually in a rock band, without playing thousands of dollars for equipment.

Soldier of Fortune III: Payback has a wonderful plot. The downside is the bugged single player, the terrible framerate, and the sometimes glitchy audio. The only great part about the game, is the timeless multiplayer which has so much to offer.

Overall a well put together homage to Starwars told through the medium of Lego. Ranging from funny to frustrating it will keep you coming back for more.

There are so many clips and questions packed into this game that you’ll likely still be having fun long after your first game. The game also saves which questions each player has seen, making it much more difficult for a repeat question until well after seeing the majority.

Brilliant use of time powers which means it fulfills it primary purpose, misses out on reaching its full potential though as the puzzles and game are made far too easy.

The visuals, audio even the character scripts are carefully chosen to add life and a new experience to AC veterans and newbies alike.

Does exactly what it says on the tin, a solid platformer with a few twists and some nice ideas. Could have done with another coat of polish though.

The story was excellent and the campaign was extremely exciting to go through. The online is awesome, although it needs some work on gametypes.

For a hunting game this is an abject failure, it’s far too easy and there is absolutely no reliance on stealth or skill.

Nobody does presentation like EA and the menus, rosters and feel of ice hockey are superb. The various leagues and teams are all well catered for and offer anything that a fan could desire.

A modern day gaming masterpiece. Simply put, it's one of the greatest games of the current era and serves as a high watermark that may not be surpassed for years to come. From the compelling plot and completely convincing atmosphere to the fantastic graphics and attention to detail, Bioshock is the total package.

Superbly fun single player with a largely forgettable multiplayer tagged on.

An interesting cross between a shooter and fighter that is let down by a strange storyline that contradicts itself as often as not and is woefully short of options to hold your interest.

A better game than the first one but not by much and it never really convinces you that it is a full blown sequel rather than a mere upgrade.

There is no other game like it and probably never will be which is a shame. It’s perfectly simple to pick up and play but also has enough depth and wonderful energy to keep you interested too.

Open Season’s only true flaw is its lack of replay value.

The story never really takes off and the characters are a bit one-dimensional, plus the lack of anything other than the main quest to occupy your attention is a let down.
