An alright game when you play it against one friend, but it gets real fun as a title when you play it with three other friends.

Newcomers might want to try the first two outings in the series just to be sure they don’t get lost playing the third, but other then that small issue, there’s little to complain about.

Stunning visuals, intense audio and an interesting backstory can't quite make up for the mediocre gameplay and technological glitches.

The loading times are also very long — even by PS2 standards, and people who are not fans of the card-battle genre will find Duel Masters to be slow-paced, methodical, and just plain boring, as each card battle will take at least 10 minutes, and there are many, many battles.

This could very well be remembered as the PlayStation 2's best game ever.

The feel of the game is almost exactly what you'd get at the arcade, without the sense of loss over all the money you're spending. The game is fast, exciting and fun – but one of the best parts about racing games is going at it with your friends and a good multiplayer mode is what this racer is sorely lacking.

The inclusion of the original Tron games helps push up the coolness factor -- so thumbs up to all for creating a fun on the go Tron experience.

The story is very rich by Mario standards, and the game can be surprisingly challenging, yet accessible, making it a truly great game for gamers of all ages.

Is Leisure Suit Larry crass? Yes. Vulgar? You bet. Immature? Of course. Funny? Downright hilarious. If you're looking for a video-game romp with a lot of off-colour and racy humour, you've hit the bull's-eye.

The game has a great feel to it simply because it's packaged together so nicely with sound, graphics, and gameplay. Where you may encounter problems is if you've already played the original, because this sequel certainly does not live up the lofty height of its predecessor.

Word of advice to the developers: When creating the next installment of this franchise, do what you did with the presentation end of things, and almost completely rip-off "Grand Theft Auto," and their gameplay. It’ll make this sort of title appeal to almost everyone.

Overall, the simplicity of Donkey Konga, combined with enough challenge (if you want it) later on makes this a really fun game to play, and it really works well with a large group of people.

The battles, generally speaking, are similarly mundane; they are long, drawn out affairs that are less about strategy and more about exchanging blows with the enemy until either your party members or the enemy team expires.

A must own for the fans, and definitely worth at least a rental from casual gamers. Be warned though, with its sprawling story, if you get hooked on this game be prepared to play it for a while – it’s a long title that will definitely make you feel like you got your money’s worth.

It's safe to say you've never played anything quite like this one. Easily one of the coolest, weirdest and most original games of the year.

May be just a little too easy, but it's one of the best comic stories ever put into a game, and would be worthy of a feature film treatment.

If Lucasarts can tame its networking quirks, deepen the map selection, and iron out a few of its weapons and class wrinkles, Battlefront stands the chance of being the most addictive online game since "Counterstrike."

A challenging level of difficulty plus next-to-useless instructions makes Def Jam: Fight For NY harder than it needs to be. But once you master your skills (and overlook the camera problems), it's one of the most viscerally fun brawlers in ages.

The review score by the way reflects the age it was targeted at – if you are outside of the 6-11 age group, check the low part of the range, because that's how this game will score for you.

Although it doesn't bring anything radically new to the formula, The Sims 2 has enough amazing twists and tweaks to make it one of those rare sequels that outdoes the original in every conceivable way.

The best part is that the game is challenging and smart enough for adults without being so hard that the impatient or young kids can't pick it up and play well.
