It has a great, albeit short, storyline that grips you from the get-go. Plus, the story's sense of urgency does a nice job balancing the languid pace of its gameplay.
-
The game has a great feel to it simply because it's packaged together so nicely with sound, graphics, and gameplay. Where you may encounter problems is if you've already played the original, because this sequel certainly does not live up the lofty height of its predecessor.
-
Overall, Syberia II is a worthy conclusion to Benoit Sokal's creation. If you played through the first game, you owe it to yourself to see how Kate & Hans wrap up their journey.
-
If you're a fan of adventure games, staying away from Syberia II is like refusing to drink water in the scorching desert because it's not cold enough.

Official Xbox MagazineIf Syberia II has a serious flaw, it's that controlling Kate requires finesse. [Dec 2004, p.98]
-
Game InformerTechnically adequate, exceptionally beautiful, and continuing the story of some great characters...but still no fun. [Nov 2004, p.163]

Xbox Nation MagazineIf "National Geographic" puts you to sleep, you might be in soporific danger here, too. [Aug 2004, p.87]
