  1. There's nothing stodgy about these court jesters or their humor, even though their act is a decidedly grown-up affair.
  2. A surprisingly lush, well-produced film.
  3. A bittersweet duet convincingly, if unexcitingly, performed by Baye and Lopez.
  4. Not that much deep thinking went on here.
  5. The scariest thing about this hokey bombast is that it got made in the first place.
  6. An insufferable, self-important, sloppily made bore.
  7. A field goal, not a touchdown.
  8. Warmhearted, wonderfully witty.
  9. I liked Coyote Ugly better when it was called "Flashdance," although I didn't like it very much then.
  10. Definitely stuck in the fourth grade.
  11. An implausible action adventure with the most geriatric payload since a community of retirees lifted off in "Cocoon."
  12. Defiantly sophomoric, often hilarious and crude as all get-out.
  13. Grim, yes, and great viewing.
  14. A big, fat clunker.
  15. A second-rate romantic comedy.
  16. Avoid this movie unless a) your child has refused to eat until you take him or her, or b) your house is being fumigated to kill an infestation of mosquitoes with the West Nile virus.
  17. Sparse and implausible screenplay.
  18. Narratively club-footed but directorially assured.
  19. A provocative and uncomfortable comedy.
  20. Isn't juvenile, it isn't even infantile. It's prenatal!
