A bit of a cop-out, wrapping in wistful sentimentality a failure to acknowledge a connection that is more than epidermal.

Loved it. The French do this sort of movie very well indeed, surprising, tender, engaging and slightly sad. At the end I didn't know whether I wanted them to be together or separate. Don't know the actors or the director but it was masterfully and carefully crafted. Thank you
